i was trying to delete this guy from my friends list just now and the message popped up asking to unfriend and as soon as i clicked it it sent him another friend request idk if this is just a visual bug or not just reporting in case its not know

hey bro i have same issue all i do is send them a messge and explain i wan t to remove them, they normaly accept then u can remove, reall pain in [butt] but for now it works
