The event chances like for halloween are not revealed anymore and therefore unknown. Norex Posted October 15, 2021 Share Posted October 15, 2021 The shiny chance is the same for every pokemon, 1/8192. It doesnt mean you have to encounter 8192 Larvitars. As I said that chance counts for every single individual encounter. So on every Larvitar you encounter there will be a 1/8192 chance (0.0001220703%) for it to be shiny. So you may get lucky and get it on your first encounter or get unlucky and dont get it after 30.000+ encounters for example. When it comes to RNG or luck, you could find a Halloween Larvitar in five minutes or you could never find it. It is simply up to pure luck, unfortunately.
