resolved Cerulean Cave Quest Stuck

I stopped playing the game for a while, and now I am back.

 

Before I stopped, I joined the dragon club and finished the quest to enter Cerulean Cave, and entered it.

 

However, now I can no longer enter the cave and the police man tells me to talk to dragon master in Johto.

I talk to Lance in the cave, and he says I am not good enough.

 

What should I do now ?

Could you possibly send a screenshot of the location where you spoke to Lance ? There are actually two lances in that area so it is possible that you spoke with the wrong one.

Lance won't battle you unless you have only level 100 pokemons in your team.

Your party needs to consist of level 100 pokemon only. It doesn't need to be full but Lance will not fight you if you have pokemons that are lower than level 100.

aha, make sense now. This is because i had a surf pokemon that was not lv. 100

Fixed now and can be closed.
