G3n3r4l Posted September 19, 2022 Share Posted September 19, 2022 (edited) Spoiler Starting Team to pre-Brock to post-Brock: Spoiler -> -> Post-Brock (see above) to pre-Misty to post-Misty (picked up a karp but never used it) Spoiler -> Post-Misty to pre-Surge and post Surge (surrendered once so i can't level), Gyarados with exp share only Spoiler so far analysis, in the rocket hideout area, much harder leveling with exp share, it went from being able to have a ridiculously high level poke by the 4th or 5th gym to now being slowed down when using the share. i still believe it's easier to do it with just one poke and that the exp share would be more useful for end game leveling rather than story Pre erika Spoiler Missed Jasmine but this is pre whoever the Saffron leader is Spoiler this is actually post Sabrina, only got 3-4 levels on gyarados though Team set for Blaine Spoiler with not much leveling done since defeating blaine, onto mewtwo and post mewtwo Spoiler before and after -> bit of scammy business later I didn't do any leveling pre-entering E4 void a couple levels on jolteon and gyarados from trainers that i didn't SS, all the other training was done from battling and rebattling the elite 4 well over two dozen times This was the final team i had that beat it all JOHTO: Spoiler pre and post gym 1, i lost the battle so i didn't get any exp from it Spoiler Here it is post Bugsy, the main issue i found with this is that his scyther just kills you, and there's no way to prevent that, but there's also no main training area nearby unless your poke is only level ~18-23 Spoiler Going in and out of Whitney's gym Spoiler -> I didn't get a picture from Morty's gym, and i'm didn't get one from the fighting one, this one is post steel, only a couple gained from it all though, Morty gave me about 3-4 levels along with the trainers, all the way until the fighting guy, i managed to go up about 5-10 with all the trainers along the water and towards the safari zone Up to this point it's still a bit hard to level up, as there's not many good areas with good wild pokemon that you can train off of Spoiler I didn't gain any levels from the gym as i lost it, my feraligatr at the time was 56, he went up after fighting the Steel gym, this is directly post steel gym though, i'm off to mahogany now Dropped the other three to continue against frosty, or whatever his name is, didn't get a screenshot but i went up from 66 to 68 in the whole ordeal Spoiler Onto Daenarys, i mean Claire, still the same at 68 going in, spoiler to see the result Spoiler a couple additions were made, and a bit of den leveling later, coming out at 74 for the main man, nobody else got any leveling done Onto the E4 Spoiler 5 randy's later, a bunch of ethers, and EQs, and a sub I didn't use the EXP share much, if at all in johto, and found overall it was much easier than Kanto, not having to worry about being underleveled as everything was going to just the one pokemon, it made it a lot easier to get through it, I think i'll do the same in Hoenn then switch it up in Sinnoh and see if that works Hoenn Spoiler I didn't get a picture of the first gym, apologies for that, if i'm right i went from 15 to16 or 17 in the gym, soloing it with a mudkip, who got his evolution upon getting the badge For the second gym this is going in and out Spoiler with a bit of leveling afterwards because i forgot :harold: Gym 3 going in had me just two levels lower on Marshtomp Spoiler Going into the 4th (I mean against Flannery already, took the ss late) Spoiler -> put up one against him for swampert's halfway -> NORMAN, heading in, nothing changing Spoiler three levels later, the badge -> Onto the city with birds Spoiler didn't ss soon enough was at 59 when i went into the gym, this is just before Winona and this is right after Entering the land of the weird fortune telling people Spoiler -> Moving on to the last gym, also, why the heck do they all know scald, like, click aqua tail or something Spoiler a bit of team rearranging was done, but we got it Going into the E4 Spoiler -> nincada was just trained on the e4 up to 80 for the purpose of the sinnoh entry quest, didn't help for e4 but the e4 made the training a whole lot easier Edited September 25, 2022 by G3n3r4l Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
