Help with exchanges!

I would like to clarify some doubts and not commit infractions:
 

1) Can I open two game accounts simultaneously on the same computer?
 

2) Can I exchange items and Pokémon with myself even though I have two different accounts?

Ya. Maximum account you can play on is 4 though, any more then that can result to punishment.

I appreciate and thank you both, @Laplase and @Isildurr2x, for helping them.

 

I would like to add to what they said. You can log in to two of your accounts at once and trade items between them. 

 

One information that you need to know, like the others said as well, you can OWN only upto four accounts. The Overall Game Rules(More info here) has it all elaborated about accounts. There are some restrictions based on accounts around PvP as well, for which you can check the PvP rules(more info here).
