I don't really see why developers would want to drive players away by screwing with their "Player luck".

I'll admit, I've been punished multiple times across the 1,700 hours I've put on this game, different severities, different reasons, etc.
But regardless of all that, my luck is still random.

I really do get where you're coming from.
There are times where I get absolutely nothing, and there are times where I get exactly what I want.
And this has pretty much been consistent throughout the years of my PRO journey.

"How come this dude gets all the good stuff, while I'm stuck here grinding for hours getting the crappy stuff?" is what goes through my mind many times.
Sometimes, I'd think it's because the others have contributed more, or maybe because I've done some bad things in the past.

But from what I've seen. This isn't the case at all.
I'd see people in chat having some extremely lucky encounters, despite not having the best attitude, and having some sort of punishment applied to them in the past.
Sometimes, I'd be the one to get lucky, getting exactly what I hunted for, or even a shiny encounter, while all the good-hearted people get nothing.

It really is just RNG. No matter the "negative karma value" you think you have.

He is totally right. I had no luck until 3200 hours, and then found a shiny Petilil in xmas 2023, a shiny audino in xmas 2024 and a shiny piplup in easter 2025. This must be connected to my luck value getting an increase.

THANK YOU FOR TURNING UP MY LUCK VALUE WALLY!

I like to imagine Wally sitting in his chair at home, having the database of all players and their luck values open, and just laughing at the fact that Fafouney has the lowest value possible. Also, please reduce Envys value, its too high.

As long as my luck is good, idc about this, so -1

Cheers and get good.

Accept being losers, im not getting any shinies, rare forms even in hundreds of hours and 10k+ max repels per mon. Maybe my luck value is at 0 but it could be worse right, there are 100%acc moves, there are pve ways of getting sure cash. Just accept the fact of not getting anything

Just wanted to share something I've noticed after spending a good amount of time in the game. It seems pretty clear that the devs are deliberately designing most of the core features-like epic Pokémon, rerolls, quests, etc.-to require a significant time investment, only to reward you with probability-based outcomes.

I understand that some RNG keeps things exciting, but when almost every aspect of progression relies on grinding and luck, it starts to feel more like a chore than a challenge. I've seen people sink countless hours into quests or hoard hundreds of rerolls, just hoping for a decent roll-and still walk away with nothing meaningful.

Some players seem okay with this design, maybe because they have more time to invest or just enjoy the gamble. But I'm curious:

- Do you think the time vs. RNG balance is fair?

- Would more deterministic rewards ruin the experience or make it better?

In my opinion, don't hunt at all. Just buy from market if u value ur time in life. Making money is easy in pro ( That's what I do besides PvP and it works well).
