I would argue that the whole core of PRO and/or Pokemon is based on luck. How lucky are you to encounter a common/uncommon/rare Pokemon. How lucky are you if that is a shiny or form. How lucky are you on the stats and wether it has good IVs or no and the preferred nature. And you have to keep grinding to achieve the result you want.

Not all pokemon games means hunting some games need skills and sometimes only skill like pokemon showdown, pokemon champions they just need good team building and adaptations,This game is a mix of luck+skill even some tactics are needed for pve dungeons, bosses etc and same in pvp even though rng plays a crucial factor

+1 yeah I would say, unfair for us who not usually play pvp so we really don't have a chance to obtain it

I like the idea of an item on the PvE store, but I'm also little traditional on Pokemon hunting and I prefer if my goal would be achieved through hunting and not with "buying" to get what I want. For me buying isn't grind but the easy way of "paying to win". Hunting for it feels more natural to it and the grind is real there. Maybe you get it in 1 hour, maybe in 1 year, maybe never. Need persistence. Work for it.

It wouldn't affect the market or the rerolls and the existent legendary. My idea suggests it would be your own legendary on it's current state but just trying to make it shiny basically. Please don't missunderstand my suggestion.

Thank you for your feedback.

Thanks for the clarification, i think most of us agree here that we as kinda regular pvp players are scared of even the thought of legendaries being huntable. Your suggestion sounds way better this way to be honest and I'd totally be down for it. I still don't really see a way to implement it as a "hunting" thing on its own, but perhaps it could be a really grindy thing connected to hunting - like catch x and y pokemon with minimum 150 ivs, catch a shiny of that pokemon or smthing like that and in the end you'll get the item to make your legendary shiny. If not going as far as shiny legendaries, I'd still totally support something that'd make hunting more rewarding, because now the only things we have are the bcc and fcc every month + the event hunting contests - which are luck dependant and lots of players take part in it. So adding something to freshen up "pve hunting" could be beneficial.
You've got a +1 from me ^^

+1 actually is not bad idea to buy a shiny legendary using PvE

Back then to get shiny legendary, we have to win yearly tourney, become staff, etc. We can say its imposible to 99.9% of player to get shiny legendary. Now with new updates, hardcore pvper can get 1-2 shiny in 1 year and for normal pvper could get 1 shiny in 1-2 year. It sounds good enough to me.
