lost dex data for some mons, legendaries mostly

Hello,

As mentioned on Discord, I have lost several entries in my Pokédex, including legendaries. This includes the Pokemon shown in the attached screenshot, as well as Hoopa.

 

I also discovered that I was missing the evolutions of Weedle and Oshawott; however, these reappeared in my Pokédex after I evolved them again... 

 

Since one of my goals is to complete dex, this situation is quite frustrating. I would greatly appreciate it if this issue could be resolved.

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused by this issue.

 

This appears to be related to the currently known Pokédex caught-data issue that has affected a number of players. Unfortunately, while some lost Pokédex data was previously restored from a backup, any data obtained after that backup and subsequently lost may not be recoverable at this time.

 

The developers are aware of the issue and have been investigating possible solutions, particularly for entries that are difficult or impossible to reacquire. However, we are currently unable to manually restore the missing Pokédex entries.
