As the Title says, I used an escape rope after beating Flannery, and completely skipped the May part to get the goggles that I was not aware of at the time.

After doing some searching on the forums, I'm sure that this is what the issue is, as leaving the gym again doesn't trigger any cut scene, and I've already completed Hoenn region. 

Could you help me get the go goggles?

I've confirmed that you do have the Heat Badge from Flannery. Before I escalate this further, could you please return to Lavaridge Gym and exit through the front entrance normally once more?

After doing so, please let me know:

• If May appears outside the gym.

• If you receive the Go-Goggles.

• If you are still unable to enter the Route 111 Desert.

Please go to Lavaridge Town, search for May in front of the gym, and please speak with her: She will give you the missing Go-Goggles.
