As crypto becomes more and more adopted, accepting payments/donations has become easier and easier.
Self hosted BTCPay, to one click providers like Oxapay,
It would severely diminish the overhead of dinging my personal card with EUR and having the bank freeze my card every time I donate (its a real thing)

Stripe is great for EUR/UK, but international players would benefit from this platform as well.

Even just BTC or ETH and a manual credit would be cool too.

Not everyone has access to reliable banking services, especially in certain countries. Platforms like BitPay or CoinGate could provide an alternative. Stablecoins pegged 1:1 to the US dollar, which means the concerns around crypto price volatility don’t really apply in the same way. It’s a practical and workable solution. Another payment option, and I don’t see the harm in offering it. I’m in favor - +1 from me.

Who's getting scammed?
Your rationale makes 0 sense. You're not paying other members, you're paying staff so I'm unsure how scams even factor in here.
Stablecoins like USDT and USDC are a real thing and do not fluctuate.

To avoid the hassle of a refund policy, Crypto transactions being 100% not refundable would take the headache away from administration.
No ACH, no 2.99%+ stripe fee, just money in a wallet.
