So I got the scanner and the mossy blob now it says the moss must be removed before it can be identified, I checked my inventory and nothing new showed up. Also where do I go to give captain stern the scanner that "Sailor Wendy" gave me

i found the scanner, which one npc i have to give it??

I would also like to know who to give the scanner to and what about the mossy blob?

guys i did the quest exactly als the guide sayd.. except having 6 pokemons with me, so my clampert got send to the pc.

but now i've picked up the "DeepSea Tooth or whatever" but my scanner ( that i got from that guy earlier) did some weird stuff, and saying it was a mossy blob? ? ? ?

and now i search for it in my bp but it's gone.. no deepsea tooth or whatever it supposly should been. and no mossy blob. so what happend ????? i rlly dont understand this..

Give the scanner to Captain Stern and he will give you the item needed :)

i seem to not have gotten deap sea tooth or scale.

When i got to the last room to get rain dance and tooth or scale, it sayed that it was a blob or something to wich the scanner reacted you got from one of the npc's there. after text bubble is gone, no scale or tooth and aswel no blob or scanner to be found in bags.....

Realy needed that tooth so i can get huntail...

Hello there, and sorry for the inconvenience!

 

In fact, the item Deep Sea Tooth isn't available in the Abandoned Ship anymore, as stated in this topic (among others):

It's not a deep sea tooth. We don't have deep sea tooth item in the Abandon ship storage unit. It's mossy blob and TM for rain dance inside the room.

This item is for the quest, so it will not show inside the bag.

 

Although I'm not sure when did it get replaced by the quest item but it's no longer available here. And video above already more than one year, so it might have some different with the current one.

The mossy blob, however, can be traded to Stern at Slateport Museum for either a Deep Sea Tooth or Deep Sea Scale!

You can also find some on wild Clamperl, Sharpedo and Carvanha as noted in the Items Location topic, or in Love Island's rock smash stones. :)

 

Reminder that, in order to go to Love Island, you need to:

• Catch 120 Pokémons native from Kanto (from range #1-#151)
  
• Get 38 evolved data
  
• Talk to the Love Sailor at Vermilion City Docks, and pay the fee of 5 000$
