A few minutes before a recent crash, I equipped my Gastly with my Macho Brace. I ev trained for a bit in route 6 before the server went down.

 

Once the server came back up, my Pokemon had been reset to several minutes before, but my inventory was updated (or at least it was a MORE recent version of my inventory).

 

My macho brace disappeared into thin air, and afaik there is only the one trading npc to get it. I understand you guys say "nothing will be returned from a rollback", but what do you expect the players to do in cases like this? Pokemon can always be re-caught, but certain items can only be bought from other players.

But you can't expect someone to sell their macho brace! It takes an inordinate amount of time to get to that point.

Give them a "tempting" offer and they might, who knows.. some might be desperate for money..

I've seen plenty of people selling macho braces ^^
