Yo! I know that this will be most likely denied or deleted, however in my opinion Mew, Celebi, Jirachi should be recatchable at least once. Why? Most of us were seriously unlucky including myself, like sync/ivs failed and ruined all the hard work. So I have an idea! What if we can release Mew for example and it would count as not catching it in the first place (We have to battle w/ Nikola, legendary quest etc). I suggest putting a 6 months cooldown after you get your second legendary pokemon, and legendaries could be recatchable for three times in total if not twice.

+1, I didn't spent a month on completing all that evo stuff for a failed sync trash pokemon I can't even use x.x

+1, honestly legendaries should be guaranteed to have usable IVs, currently there's hardly any point to even getting them because you'd need to nikola like 15 times just to get a +speed nature and a reasonable speed iv...

This would solve every single issue.

 

+1+1+1+1. We worded SO HARD for these rewards and most of the times they are not even good enough for bosses, let alone PvP.

 

PvP aspect: in current state a few people have a huge advantage, simply based on luck! You can keep repeating the same old 'yes but they are only 600 base pokes' and stuff but scarfchi or a very good bold celebi can just shutdown several setups. The competitive aspect is hurt when, given the same effort put for a reward, people are not given the same tools to compete. Luck should not be the factor deciding whether you can or can not use your legendary.

 

MMO: how long does it take to complete the whole dex including evolutions? That's not even enough, there are some pretty high hours requirements for these rewards aswell. The feeling you get when you work so hard and simple RNG destroys your dreams by giving you a brave celebi is pretty damn sad. Few lucky people are happy, yhe others are so frustrated they usually stop chasing these rewards after the first or second one.

 

All in all, it's in the game's own interest to give people a SOLID reward for their effort. They are not tradable, so the economy isn't hurt. PvP benefits a lot from allowing everyone the possiblity to use these pokemons and not (very) few lucky people.

As much as I don't play PRO anymore I think it should be in line more with the games. In the game series from 6th gen onwards (PRO is currently based on 6th gen) all legendary and pokemon that that could only be caught once were guaranteed 3 31 IV's as they weren't breedable or catchable anywhere else in the game. Obviously on the handhelds soft-reseting was a thing so it wasn't too bad however in an MMO environment where once is really only "once" it should be fair to allow this and maybe a 100% sync rate for the effort and time you have to put in.

 

Also with the Legendary dogs being teased as catchable this would be a great way to test this out a receive feedback. I don't think any player wants to spend 750 hours playing a game in hopes of getting a reward which is useless in PvP and maybe even PvE if worse comes to worse.

It would be based on u releasing ur old ones (this is something we can check now btw)
