Just wanted to add: when I entered Lilycove City for the first time, I had to fight May. Perhaps they changed this with the most recent update?

In route 110 you will find May and you need to beat her,

Once you beat her go to mauville city!

 

I just lost to her and she disappeared, so I can pass freely.

 

Wanted to note that!

Strategy against Deoxys:

Use a Pokemon with suckerpunch. You will always get one attack in, then revive it while another poemon in your team gets defeated (or use another with the same attack), and so on.....

this guide is very good, but i would add some key info at the intro section, for example that dive pokemon with 150 happiness thing can be a problem, my water pokemon could not learn dive and i had to make another one happy for example. also, tm rock smash is needed later in the game, if you dont know it you need to go back to mauville and buy one for 5000$. im there right now so i dont know if i am going to have more problems later, anyway as i have said, good guide
