I just finished kanto and started Johto and i hear i wont be able to get to cupid city unless i beat E4 of johto region..

 

I thought you guys said even people who have just started can go and participate??

What level are Cupid's Pokemon? I picked Aphrodite not knowing how strong she was and I want to know if I would be able to beat Cupid. Also, is there any way of switching which boss you battle?
