U just count wrong, once 1 pokes dies to hazards its not uncommon that it shows that 2 died by accident, try thinking what pokes opponent had and u will see it was only 6 pokemon just a visual bug

Lol. even if you do all that and delete it by mistake, just take screenshot of msg u get after u deleted it and u get it back by posting on forums
