  1. Hello, I am looking to buy an Epic Scrafty or Scraggy. If you got one, please leave picture of it in the thread along with an asking price and I will contact you if I'm interested in buying it. Please do not ask me to offer. Just name your price, if I am interested and I don't think the price is fair I'll let you know and maybe we can negotiate. You can also contact me on Discord (generally faster): Shen#1128 Thank you.
  2. Re: WTS Hydreigon <t>Will do when I login, in hiatus for a bit due to exams.<br/> <br/> Can you drop me a message on discord when you are online?</t>
  3. Re: WTS Hydreigon <t>Start</t>
  4. Re: Imposter, My Love <t>Personally do believe the PvP would be lackluster if Ditto and Imposter are implemented. Especially as PRO uses mainly 6th gen mechanics and there is no team preview, akin to Dream World format tier in 5th gen in which I remember, with no team preview, setup was almost dead due a scarf Imposter Ditto being able to single handedly ruin your entire day.<br/> <br/> Where I do agree that if that's the case you should always run a check or a hard counter to your own sweeper and sometimes Ditto could be deadweight against stall teams, with 6th gen Pokemon implemented and no team preview, coding Imposter in and allowing it in PvP could deter a lot of people in my opinion.</t>
  5. Insta Eelektross, pm'd you on Discord.
  6. Almost certain that the prices are overstated, while I can't submit an accurate assessment, the two Eevees that generally would use Adamant is Flareon and Leafeon, both which are not high on PVP tiers and even then low def on a Leafeon would mean some problems. The Modest one is definitely overstated and is not an epic, definitely need 20+ SpA on that to be an epic but however in my personal opinion would definitely be worth more than the Adamant one and since they are untrained in EVs and movesets, my personal opinion would be to halve the prices you have suggested. Just my 2 cents, only commented since you have said "Price Check" Good luck!
  7. Great tier list, finding the meta substantially different from the OU generations from Smogon, so this would help out a lot of players including myself. Surprised to not see Rhyperior higher up.
  8. On the same boat as me, nostalgia attacks were on a high when finishing the story on this! Personally finished Sinnoh on Yellow myself. Contact me in game if you need any help! Good luck!
  9. Hello everyone, I started PRO very recently and have been having tremendous fun reliving past regions. My main goal in the game is PvP as I am an avid competitive Pokemon player. If anyone played NetBattle, Shoddy Battle or Pokemon Online etc, they might know me by Pana or HeroOfSinnoh. I have held the rank 1 positions in ladders such as GSC OU, ADV OU, ADV Ubers, DP OU, DP Ubers, BW OU and BW Ubers (being the first player to break a rating of 2,000 in Pokemon Online Ubers tier). I reserved to mainly playing fun tiers after XY in Pokemon Showdown under different alts, but however is still knowledgable on all competitive matter upto USUM. Anyway, PRO life; I am currently in Hoenn, speed running through while collecting a team I can use to Pvp with hopefully when I finish Sinnoh, the reason I am keeping off PvP until the game storyline finishes is because I want to get into it properly as an end game. I am from Melbourne, Australia, so I am basically looking for any guild into Pvp, needing pvp advice etc etc. I only speak English, so please don't ask me to join guilds that mainly use a different language. Thanks.

  12. Just to make a point of something that the OP has said in a post; If you pair anything with the right supportive mons and have a half decent brain, it can obviously perform well. Also, damage calculations with a choice band on is one thing, it gets locked into a move and can easily be predicted and outplayed if you know the competitive meta well enough. Revenge killing is a thing. Playing around a Pokemon is a thing. As far as I see, Rhyperior doesn't have prime-time stats to be extremely over centralizing. If I remember correctly even 252 Spe Jolly Rhyperior only reachers 394 Speed after a Rock Polish, which allows plenty of scarfs to outspeed it, of course if this is the case it doesn't hold a choice band. If it does, it's locked to one move. If you don't have something that doesn't resist EdgeQuake coverage or something that can withstand a banded hit from it, that might actually be the team's problem, definitely not the Pokemon's.

If you're looking for a fire based "weather" team as they are called in competitive battling, you generally need two main things. First being a weather setter, which means something that has the ability "Drought" or "Drizzle" in your case you want a Drought Pokemon, not much options here except for Ninetails holding a Heat Rock to extend your duration of the Drought. (Torkoal is a valid option in SM era too but I don't know if they have implemented this in PRO), Ninetails have plenty of competitively viable sets so don't worry about this too much. Second thing being an abuser (or abusers), generally this means something that can take advantage of the weather to sweep. It generally means Pokemon with abilities such as Chlorophyll (Venusaur, Victreebel, Shiftry etc) or maybe something with Solar Power. Generally Venusaur and Victreebel is chosen for type balancing and the fact that they learn Growth, which boosts ATK and SpA by 2 stages in sun, has access to Synthesis for 75% health recovery in sun and so forth. Rapid Spinner and Defog users are recommended in Sun team as all of the weather setup Pokemon in Sun teams are weak against Stealth Rock, this becomes extremely problematic, especially if the opponent is using a weather team as well and you need to win the weather war. There are obviously other ways you can abuse the weather as well. For example, anything with water weakness would not have that weakness in your sun team as sun cuts the power of water type moves by 1/2. If you need further help or ideas, feel free to contact me. Cheers.
