i can confirm that you don't need to catch heracross, nor do you need to bring it. i never brought a heracross or caught one. you just need to win 3 times; however, i do not know if it must be consecutively. but, i did win 3 days in a row and got it. thank you to everyone who shared their info! :D [spoiler=proof]

Hello, friends! Can anyone tell me where I can find a Heat Rock? Is it even in the game yet? I've already found a Smooth Rock and a Damp Rock, so I assume Heat Rock exists as well. Please and thank you. c:

Surfing on Route 6 is pretty good during the morning and day (night is okay too, but Poliwag spawns additionally, which slows down the SpA gain). Psyduck is very common, and you also get the occasional Golduck as well, so it's pretty consistent. But I'd say the best spot I've encountered so far is Mt. Silver Upper Mountainside. Golduck is quite common during the day there. And if you're training Speed too, Golbat also spawns commonly at night. If you don't have access to Mt. Silver and you want to train Special Attack + Speed, Seafoam is good too. Psyduck, Golduck, Zubat, and Golbat are all the most common things you'll find there. Hope I was helpful! c:
