  1. Yeah, it doesn't work. Though I still feel it should have at least just gets nerfed if they are keeping the ability in the game, instead of straight out doesn't work.
  2. If I recall correctly, it doesn't.
  3. I assume we'll need to have finished all the regions first. Which, for now, is an impossible condition to fulfill, as there are only 2 regions out of at least 6.
  4. I think these three should be available in Hoenn, as OR/AS gives them a place to evolve (New Mauville for Magnezone & Probopass, Shoal Cave's deepest floor for Glaceon, and Petalburg Woods for Leafeon). I think you meant Hitmonlee there instead of Hitmontop
  5. The NPC has been removed for now, likely due to Mega Stone being currently useless, you'll most likely have to wait until the Key Stone / Mega Ring is implemented. Yeah, False Swipe in Route 5 no longer exist for almost two months now. They have a weird reasoning for it, though. Why False Swipe being a TM means we can't have a tutor of it? Rock Slide has both a TM and a tutor. The Elemental Punches were a TM in Gen 2.
  6. I'm guessing you had the same thing as me: server crashed in the middle of battle against an E4, and when logging back in, turns out the rollback put the player right in front of the E4 member, ready to be battled again right away as the rollback means the server never recognized the previous battle. And yeah, it's great :Heart-eyes:
  7. Yeah, I think this has been suggested multiple times. NPC trainers should NOT automatically walk up to us for a rebattle, rather it should be our own decision whether we want to rebattle or not.
  8. ......I'm curious, have you ever play any other Pokemon game? Even in the official games, only you can see the number of your own Pokemon's HP, your opponent can't. PRO is the first Pokemon game I've played to have the player themselves unable to see the number during battle.
  9. I think what Secu meant was in terms of encounter, not in terms of stats.
  10. It can be done without affecting the established system, actually. In fact, it has been done, just look at other fan-made Pokemon games, some did it already. You basically just need to change the "trigger" for using HM move from being move-based to item-based. So instead of requiring you to have a Cut Pokemon in your team, the event for cutting a tree requires you to have a certain item in your bag. ......which reminds me, it has been done even in the official games. Certain parts of the game requires the use of Key Items to activate certain event, which is no different than say, using a flashlight to light your surroundings. So it's all just about whether the devs want to implement it or not, really. I don't mind either way. We know Game Freak didn't want to despite already having the system in place.
  11. I'm still wondering why the heck everyone wants to get Staryu through the ridiculous* fishing when you can encounter them via surfing. And it's not that rare either. Maybe it's just my luck, but while surfing in Seafoam B4F, Staryu feels more like uncommon instead of rare. *by "ridiculous", I mean "good luck, because you won't even get any battle, let alone a battle against Staryu"
  12. and conversely, some also think if the nature is good the ivs doesn't matter. In reality, both are equally important.
  13. Re: Locations of the hidden items - Updated 2015-10-02 <r><QUOTE author="Kombo"><s> </e></QUOTE> I finally reached that spot just recently, and I found literally nothing, not even a dialog box that says nothing is there xD<br/> <br/> Either they changed it, or there was never anything there in the first place. But one thing for sure, there's nothing in there right now.</r>
  14. Actually, if when the server is up there's a rollback that puts you right before challenging Lance, then you don't have to wait for 24 hours. It happened to me during previous server crash, I was in the middle of battling Agatha, but when I log in again after the crash is over, I'm standing in front of Agatha and can immediately challenged her again.
  15. I'm not sure, but wasn't the Shadow Ball TM in Morty's Gym in Johto? Also, you can defeat Alakazam by crippling it then using a powerful physical attack - Alakazam's Defense stat is really bad (its base Defense is only 45) meaning it absolutely cannot take physical hits well if Barrier/Reflect is not up. My Sturdy Magneton gets a Thunder Wave in, then my Crobat's Acrobatics easily pummeled Alakazam down. Even my Sandslash can outspeed it and gets an Earthquake in, now that Alakazam is paralyzed. Seriously, I defeated Sabrina with a team that has THREE Poison-types in it. Literally half of my team is weak to Psychic. But instead of using Dark-types (my Eevee's IVs are really bad to be evolved into an Umbreon, and who knows what kind of good luck is needed to find a usable Absol), I resort to using tactic with support moves. This is the wonderful thing about Pokemon, it's not just all about power.
  16. Re: Item Locations + discription! [uPDATED: Shiny Stone + King's Rock] <r><QUOTE author="Agrodark"><s> </e></QUOTE> You have a small typo there, should be "wear", not "where" <E></E><br/> <br/> <QUOTE author="Agrodark"><s> </e></QUOTE> I forgot the price, but Flamethrower is in Cinnabar Gym and Earthquake is in Viridian Gym.<br/> <br/> False Swipe should be removed as the NPC no longer exist.<br/> <br/> <QUOTE author="Agrodark"><s> </e></QUOTE> It is confirmed that you do not need to beat Kanto E4 for it.</r>
  17. Yes, they are. What we really need right now is the Key Stone xD A Mega Stone is useless without the Key Stone, after all.
  18. just to add: Charmander learns Dragon Rage at lv16, just before evolving. Dragon Rage is a good move for defeating Brock. You also need to check the notes on Fuji's house, if I recall correctly. Good Rod is actually 15k. Silph Co. teleporter puzzle: 1. Go to 3F 2. Enter the room on the left, enter the first teleporter you see 3. Follow the path, and you'll reach 11F where Giovanni is in. according to staffs, base 600 legendaries will be catchable in the future, the legendary birds included. However, the catchable birds will be in a different place, so it's okay to defeat the ones already existing, they even make it necessary to get rid of Moltres to exit Victory Road. Paralyzing Mewtwo is actually a good way to cripple it, making it easier to deal with. A Sturdy Magneton can get a Thunder Wave in, and then maybe inflict a bit of damage before going down, allowing other teammates to easily deal with Mewtwo. Seafoam Island B4F is also a good place for training, even better than Cinnabar Mansion in fact. But both places have their own advantage and disadvantage. Seafoam has higher level wild Pokemon, but is way far from civilization. Cinnabar Mansion's level is lower, but it's really close to Pokemon Center and Pokemart.
  19. Fire starter's Blaze and Grass starter's Overgrow also have the same effect as Water starter's Torrent, though. So I don't think Torrent is the sole reason why Water is superior  Charizard is still able to learn EQ in Gen 2, Gen 3, Gen 4, Gen 5, and Gen 6. Also, we already have lots of dual types in Gen 1, one of them being.....guess what, Charizard. Other dual types in Gen 1 are Bulbasaur line, Exeggcute line, Jynx, the legendary birds, the fossils, Onix, Dragonite, Geodude line, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Pidgey line, Spearow line, Starmie, and Gastly line.
  20. Well, here's a few additions to your TM/HM list  HM01 Cut is in SS Anne from the Captain HM03 Surf is inside a house in Fuchsia Safari Zone after beating Victor on Route 19 beach HM05 Flash is from Oak's Aide in a Gate House in Route 2, the Gate House being accessible only if you have Cut or if you travel through Diglett Cave TM07 is Horn Drill TM12 is Water Gun TM18 is Counter TM19 is Seismic Toss Needs someone else to confirm this, but I recall TM22 Solarbeam is also available for free in Cinnabar Mansion. I have one and I haven't beat Kanto E4 yet. TM23 is Dragon Rage, and can be found inside Viridian Maze TM85 is Flamethrower, meaning TM35 in PRO is another move TM114 is Rock Smash, meaning TM94 in PRO is another move
  21. As has been said, Dragon's Den is in Johto, but if you haven't even reach Johto yet, then Victory Road is your best bet. Also, don't forget to rebattle trainers once a week, especially Gym Trainers in later Gyms, which not only provide good money but also good exp.
  22. just defeat Articuno, you can't catch it for now. This. Seafoam Island is hilariously easy in PRO, unlike in official games or other fanmade games.
  23. I'm okay with wings as long as they look natural and fit the current sprite style. Not like in various Ragnarok Online private servers, which I think is one of the most popular example for being WAY overboard in terms of wings.
  24. Re: Item Locations + discription! [uPDATED: Assault Vest + Choice Scarf + Smoke Ball] <r>Where is the location of Oak's assistant that will give us the starter's Mega Stone?<br/> <br/> <QUOTE author="k3nk3n87"><s> </e></QUOTE> Vermillion City, house next to the Pokemon Center.</r>
  25. Did it used Dragon Dance before attacking Kingdra? Assuming a lv 70 MCX, vs lv 67 Kingdra: +1 252+ Atk Tough Claws Mega Charizard X Flare Blitz vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Kingdra: 83-98 (41.9 - 49.4%) -- guaranteed 3HKO And that's assuming Charizard has 31 Attack IV while Kingdra has 31 HP & Defense IV. I agree with you about the dialogue, though. He acts all high and mighty when we don't even care about him. The first encounter with him also has him being stupidly arrogant as well. But hey, it makes beating him at Mt. Silver be much more satisfying.
