I honestly don't care if it's via a button or a command or even the game's system itself preventing rebattle until the player talk to the NPC, as long as there's a way to prevent rebattles. Rebattle being initiated by player instead of automatically by the system, has been suggested so many times, yet there's no indication that anything is being done about it...... I'm sure something as important as this should have been a top priority to be implemented as soon as possible, so would be nice if the devs can say something about this.

Goldenrod/Saffron Train Station, pay 5k to enter, then in front of the train, pay 10k to go to Trainer's Valley instead. Go to the right area of TV, the big lake area, and surf up until you reach a beach with a cave in it. Enter the cave, and keep going up until you reach "Unknown Place". However, note that to have access to TV, you need the same requirement as Love Island - 120 different species of Kanto Pokemon owned, 35-40 evolved.

To be fair, do you really expect people (and yourself) to finish multiple regions 100 times? I honestly doubt people would bother doing the requirement 100 times, as it is right now, it doesn't sounds like it's going to be easy. I bet we would need to be the Champion of the latest region in PRO just to be able to get one. Mew alone also needs 500 hours playtime apparently. Doing that for 10 characters would be equal to 5000 hours, which is around half a year of constantly playing (24/7) without stopping. Doing that for 100 characters? Around 5 years of constantly playing without stopping. Unless you have like, 50-100 computers all run 24/7 just for PRO.

Yeah, it doesn't work. Though I still feel it should have at least just gets nerfed if they are keeping the ability in the game, instead of straight out doesn't work.

I assume we'll need to have finished all the regions first. Which, for now, is an impossible condition to fulfill, as there are only 2 regions out of at least 6.

I think these three should be available in Hoenn, as OR/AS gives them a place to evolve (New Mauville for Magnezone & Probopass, Shoal Cave's deepest floor for Glaceon, and Petalburg Woods for Leafeon). I think you meant Hitmonlee there instead of Hitmontop

The NPC has been removed for now, likely due to Mega Stone being currently useless, you'll most likely have to wait until the Key Stone / Mega Ring is implemented. Yeah, False Swipe in Route 5 no longer exist for almost two months now. They have a weird reasoning for it, though. Why False Swipe being a TM means we can't have a tutor of it? Rock Slide has both a TM and a tutor. The Elemental Punches were a TM in Gen 2.

I'm guessing you had the same thing as me: server crashed in the middle of battle against an E4, and when logging back in, turns out the rollback put the player right in front of the E4 member, ready to be battled again right away as the rollback means the server never recognized the previous battle. And yeah, it's great :Heart-eyes:

Yeah, I think this has been suggested multiple times. NPC trainers should NOT automatically walk up to us for a rebattle, rather it should be our own decision whether we want to rebattle or not.

......I'm curious, have you ever play any other Pokemon game? :Grin: Even in the official games, only you can see the number of your own Pokemon's HP, your opponent can't. PRO is the first Pokemon game I've played to have the player themselves unable to see the number during battle.

It can be done without affecting the established system, actually. In fact, it has been done, just look at other fan-made Pokemon games, some did it already. You basically just need to change the "trigger" for using HM move from being move-based to item-based. So instead of requiring you to have a Cut Pokemon in your team, the event for cutting a tree requires you to have a certain item in your bag. ......which reminds me, it has been done even in the official games. Certain parts of the game requires the use of Key Items to activate certain event, which is no different than say, using a flashlight to light your surroundings. So it's all just about whether the devs want to implement it or not, really. I don't mind either way. We know Game Freak didn't want to despite already having the system in place.

I'm still wondering why the heck everyone wants to get Staryu through the ridiculous* fishing when you can encounter them via surfing. And it's not that rare either. Maybe it's just my luck, but while surfing in Seafoam B4F, Staryu feels more like uncommon instead of rare. *by "ridiculous", I mean "good luck, because you won't even get any battle, let alone a battle against Staryu"

and conversely, some also think if the nature is good the ivs doesn't matter. In reality, both are equally important.

Actually, if when the server is up there's a rollback that puts you right before challenging Lance, then you don't have to wait for 24 hours. It happened to me during previous server crash, I was in the middle of battling Agatha, but when I log in again after the crash is over, I'm standing in front of Agatha and can immediately challenged her again.

I'm not sure, but wasn't the Shadow Ball TM in Morty's Gym in Johto? Also, you can defeat Alakazam by crippling it then using a powerful physical attack - Alakazam's Defense stat is really bad (its base Defense is only 45) meaning it absolutely cannot take physical hits well if Barrier/Reflect is not up. My Sturdy Magneton gets a Thunder Wave in, then my Crobat's Acrobatics easily pummeled Alakazam down. Even my Sandslash can outspeed it and gets an Earthquake in, now that Alakazam is paralyzed. Seriously, I defeated Sabrina with a team that has THREE Poison-types in it. Literally half of my team is weak to Psychic. But instead of using Dark-types (my Eevee's IVs are really bad to be evolved into an Umbreon, and who knows what kind of good luck is needed to find a usable Absol), I resort to using tactic with support moves. This is the wonderful thing about Pokemon, it's not just all about power.
