My guess is since for one Venusaur is outstanding in PvP in the current meta, far surpassing the other two starters. Also since Bulbasaur is the least chosen out of the 3 starters, incentive is placed in its availability in the wild. Just as Pikachu's incentive is its ability to learn surf. The 5k paywall is minor compared to the selling price you would make off of one, and the amount of amassed money you will accumulate later into the game.

Having Power Items will not mean 'no work will be put into EV training'. It'll just be more convenient, and give those with less time on their hands a chance to train their pokes themselves and keep their money in their banks. Competitive Pokemon prices should be more dependent on the said pokemon's IVs and Nature anyway. Level and EVs should have little effect on their prices. See the difference is that this is an online environment. In the main games you pump out trained pokemon like a machine just for battling, but in this game more time is put into a good team, and pokemon. Be that because of finding it, training it, or raising the money to buy it. And leveling and Ev'ing a pokemon increases the price dramatically. And is the purpose behind the daycare services offered by players.

Once you get a 'logging in' message you tend to be fine, but if it goes on too long I would close the client and try again. Also for which server, I would recommend Red for current competitive battles, but since you are still playing through Blue might be easier to get an initial foothold in and maybe start a pvp guild. It took me about 140 to see one and I ran from it on accident. So don't bet on it, shinys are mainly a rare random 'gift'. And not something that is easily found.

I would recommend making a post in the 'donation issues' forum found here https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=71 since that is the proper place for such an issue. Otherwise limiting the use of censored language is always respectful.

I would just hang on to it, and now she doesn't need to use a water type since surf is already covered so she can make her team even more interesting. While this could be clarified more, donations are non-refundable. Also since you have membership she could do the quest in game to get the free arcanine mount that requires you to catch certain pokemon.

Are you sure you're not at the bottom of the tower? There is an underground sections for members only. Make sure you are going up 7 floors, not down 30

Bikes and mounts go the same speed, mounts can be purchased with coins or from an in game quest. A bike voucher is 75k in game. You cannot access route 16-17-18 with a mount since we don't want you to be able to bypass in game quests with real money.

Starter pikachu can learn surf from a tutor.

Well most ingame dialogues answers are bound to 1,2,3,4 and you can bind these keys to any keys you want in the options. You can completely navigate dialogue once you do this with the keyboard. For example I use z,x,c,v,b,n as my 1-6 keys so I can play almost entirely with my left hand.
