That demands you to learn how to value a pokemon based on its IVs, Nature, etc., and you will get better with that as time goes on. If you are into PVP, go ahead and check out https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/index.php?forums/pvp.21/ It will give you a general idea of PRO's current meta, as well as which pokemon is currently banned, so you could start thinking of which pokemon you wanna hunt/buy for your team later on.
