High chance that the Froakie hasnt got an ID yet, so it couldnt be recovered even if staff wants to. Next time, relog immediately right after you catch something of value for it to be saved in the game database. Use Masterball to quicken the catching process if u deem necessary. Of course, if the crash happens during this interval then there is nothing we can do. May your luck be better next time.

Very helpful guide. The outbreak time length and pokemon tier are what I didn’t know where to look up before. Quick question. Are outbreak pokemon designed to not be able to hunt using repel trick?

The purpose of ev training in Safari is for speed and convenience, with a paid fee. If they can’t remove hypnosis due to it being in the low level movepool, then I suggest they to change poliwrath to a different mon with less annoying moves for the trainer. After all, def and hp ev are indeed more annoying to train in Safari compared to the spots for Spd Atk here. (Nidoqueen with double kick and the poison-spreading move is annoying in Safari also, from my experience)

A fellow gen 1 player :) I was like you 3 years ago when I got back to Pokemon, after stopping playing for 20 years. Delevel / Force Evo In-game name: SinLight Server: Gold Pokemon ID: 28194049 My trapinch leveled up twice without evoving (now at level 99). Sometimes leveling it would trigger evo, while sometimes not. Would be great if you can let me know the problem. I'm afraid that even after it get deleveled, then level up again, it still won't evo, and I will waste a rare candy again for nothing. Thanks a lot!
