That's not how it works in the games. Flash Fire activates when a Fire type move is targeted on the said Pokemon. Flame Orb is not an attack, it's only an item that burns the holder. Thus, Flash Fire isn't activated.

Well tbh, instead of complaining and asking for special treatment only for yourself, you should suggest a solution which everyone can benefit. In my opinion, it would be better if Move Relearners were able to re-teach Pre-Evolution moves as well, because it really hurts some Pokemon badly, like your case. This is an MMO, so we don't have the option to breed another one with good IVs/Nature/Ability, with the move we want. And hunting the same Pokemon with similar attributes isn't always easy. Imagine having a godly Togekiss with Air Slash, Nasty Plot, Aura Sphere, Roost and wanting to replace one of the moves with, say Ancient Power. I would be happy to write down my thoughts if you make a suggestion thread, but complaining and asking for special treatment won't get you anywhere.

I can live with it tbh, because PRO has a lot to offer and some days I barely find the time to hunt thanks to digging, headbutting, smashing rocks etc. I see the point you're making and while I agree that it's rather demotivating, I don't think there's much that could be changed in terms of farming for good IVs/nature/ability. It has to be RNG based to ensure equal playing grounds for everyone and make this game different to the likes of Showdown where every Pokemon has perfect IVs. Do you have any suggestions though? Something like "rare Pokemon should be guaranteed 10+ IVs"? (although I would not agree tbh)

Another idea. False Swiping ghosts. Now this could be done with Soakers, but you would need to carry another Pokemon. Sneasel, Weavile and Farfetch'd can learn both False Swipe and Foresight, which enables hitting ghosts with normal type attacks.

Great guide! You should also add Furret. Furret's hidden ability is Frisk and it can learn Thief which comes in handy when hunting for items. It's also a great slave. Can learn Cut, Dig, Surf, Rock Smash. Besides, you might want to note down that Kadabra & Alakazam can have Role Play in their movesets, which tells the ability of the opponent when used. This is great when hunting for Pokemon with certain abilities.

That, of course, could happen but in the official games when the timer runs out, the player with more Pokemon alive wins. So it's best if that's the case here as well, and it makes total sense.

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this report, sorry if it isn't. I've been training some Pokemon in CC for a while and I realized something. Haze, which removes all stat changes, does not work during the hidden stage of the move "Fly" and this probably is the case with Dig and Dive as well. I'm fairly sure (not 100%) that Haze should eliminate stat changes regardless, correct me if I'm wrong. I didn't get a screenshot, but here's what pretty much happens. Normal: Wild Arbok appeared, go Charizard. Charizard used Ember Arbok used Haze All stat changes were eliminated.... Charizard used Dragon Claw Arbok has fainted. _ Bug: Wild Arbok appeared, go Charizard. Charizard used Fly Charizard flew up high! Arbok used Haze... (turn ends and stats don't reset)^^^ Charizard used Fly Arbok has fainted. ^^^= I'm sure of this because Arbok also uses Coil at times, and when I should be able to OHKO it with Fly after a Haze, I can't because the stat changes don't reset.

Wow, I wasn't aware of this and I totally agree. It doesn't make any sense. Any of the arguments said in the first 1-2 pages don't even justify it at all. Focus Sash is NOT an OP item. A sweeper with high offensive power and low defenses might rely on it, but all it requires is carrying a priority user in your party, or having entry hazards etc. If Focus Sash was as OP as it was thought to be by the staff of this game who decided to make it consumable, it would've been used left, right and center in the official games and simulators but that is not the case. I rarely ever see it used, that means the opponent rarely ever has is or has the opportunity to use it. Also, please stop raising the "this is an MMO, you need to grind" argument for every single thing. If you make everything a grind, players won't have the time to actually play the game you've spent so much time creating the mechanics & design of. Find the balance. I vote Yes. This shouldn't even be a discussion.

I was told the RNG is more of a coin flip. For all I know we could both be wrong xD What Clubtropper said. I may not have been as clear as he was, sorry for that haha. :D

I'm pretty sure there's sleep clause (max of 1 asleep Pokemon at a time). And Spore is easily countered with Taunt, Insomnia, Vital Spirit, Grass type Pokemon etc. Or you could let the opponent put your Pokemon to sleep, switch to another Pokemon that counters Breloom (which is fairly easy with its 7 weaknesses and only 2 moves) and done! Especially if you have a Talonflame (Gale Wings or not), your job will be easy since a +2 Breloom will only do around half damage to it, and in return it'll get OHKOed. The best option seems to be letting one of your Pokemon fall asleep and bringing in a Breloom counter. You won't even have to "waste" a slot in your party specifically for a Breloom counter, lots of Pokemon don't mind taking a hit from it (even after a SD boost) then KOing it in return such as Talonflame, Dragonite, Togekiss, Arcanine, Venusaur etc. which are also viable Pokemon in PvP.

I've been told multiple times by different people within discord it is not calculated by percentages. If I'm wrong please link me some sort of proof. I haven't got any links to prove it, but hear me out. And correct me if I'm wrong. RNG = Chance (of a certain event). Chance = Percentage, is it not, or am I thinking wrong?
