  1. Would be annoying as hell. Especially for those who just want any xmas Pokemon. Finding extremely rare xmas Pokemon at a rate of 1/1000 has a VERY low chance. Lower chances than finding a common shiny. This way everyone chooses to hunt what they want. If Sentrets and Sandshrews don't interest you, you're free to hunt Eevees and Swablus. Personally, I'm more interested in hunting xmas commons because I know I'll eventually (if I'm not uber unlucky) get one. And unfortunately, that doesn't apply to extremely rares.
  2. @Staff Can someone please shed some light on the revamp that is supposed to happen? Is this the final state of excavation sites? If not, when is the expected finish date of the revamp? If you don't have an ETA, what is holding it back and do you have an ETA for when the staff might have some time for the revamp? There's a huge lack of communication. Looks like finding where a staff member hides and solving riddles will improve the game a lot more. GG
  3. This would result in a huge drop in MS sales and those sales pretty much run the game, so I don't think it'll happen.
  4. i agree with you. The staffs aren't doing anything to regulate the MS price and this is very bad. Now people who joined recently can't buy a single MS. If the staffs want more people to join this game they should regulate the price. Also, I don't get the staff's logic they only say donate and be angry about the botters. However, 5$ is alot to some people and people like me (a child) can't buy one. I normaly have to spend time farming epic pokes and selling them for a high price and then buy the ms. Without MS there are too many disadvantages and I think this forces people to buy MS. Also, If i could give a suggestion i think a boss reward should be MS then more people would be able to get MS and the price will drop enabling people who just joined to be able to enjoy the benefits of MS. They can't do anything about the MS price, the players dictate the market. And the increase in the price of MS also means the increase in price of Pokemon, especially those in demand. They're all related to each other. An epic X costed 100k when MS was 100k, now MS is 1.2m and an epic X also costs that much. Affording MS isn't a very hard task unless you're uber unlucky. Hunt a Pokemon that is in demand, sell it, buy MS. Get a Pokemon with Frisk, hunt for Razor Fangs etc. buy ms. Hunt Sync Kadabras, sell them, buy MS. Now, I know this isn't very ideal, but unfortunately this is the case with a lot of games, not just PRO. If you can't afford something you're gonna have to spend time for it. I do feel for those who can't pay for MS with real money because they don't have a card or because it's not a small amount of money for their country, but the game needs that money to run. And they won't be getting that money without offering something in return to those who pay.
  5. Here's why: Valid enough answer, staff should use it more often.
  6. Because people don't understand that xmas Poke is sth special and you have to put some effort to get one. If you don't understand the rules of MMO don't play one. Personally, I'm cool with the xmas rate. I just don't like it when people think "MMO" is the answer for everything. The perception of an MMO may differ from person to person, game to game. A little more explanation would not hurt at all and may, in fact, help those who complain understand why a certain rate/rarity etc. is there.
  7. How to be a staff member 101 Throw the word "MMO" whenever you can't answer a complaint/suggestion, and it's done. Ezpz

  9. Oh it was great seeing those who keep ranting about how this game "is an MMO", complain about the initial OT rule. What happened to the game being MMO and how MMOs should be a grind? What happened to "if you can't allocate enough time to PRO, may be this game isn't for you"? All I'm saying is LOL.
  10. May be bump up the rate a little on xmas day?
  11. Some players/guilds already do this with out spectating, they share the information. Most pvp players keep notes on certain players in case they see them again. It's pretty common without spectating. I don't see how spectating would prevent this. Yeah, I edited my post after reading the previous replies. Most people would have an idea of what everybody is using I assume. Fair call.
  12. I don't necessarily disagree with this, and I'm not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but I don't know how comfortable I would be with giving away my movesets. The community is rather small, and it won't be hard to keep track of who's running what moves on their Pokemon with a bit of spectating. Just my 2 cents. Edit: I've read other replies and it's already been discussed. There are some fair points raised in favor of spectating. My thoughts still remain, but I'm less iffy now thanks to those posts.
  13. Any Charizard.
  14. Donphan is better as it doesn't require you using a Focus Sash, thanks to Sturdy and you still have access to Endeavor as well as a priority move in Ice Shard.
  15. Would be a little unfair to at least one of us. :Ambivalent: It would be quite annoying for you, but I wouldn't call it "unfair". The event brought Party Hats as well as Winter Sets at a tiny price of 50k. Larvesta spawns is a similar example in the opposite way. They were obtainable via headbutt in the past (Correct me if I'm wrong), now they aren't. These sorts of things are bound to happen as the game develops. Congratulations on your capture!
  16. Selling blue party hat, post offers here or PM me in game.
  17. xD no xDxDxDxDxD
  18. A similar thing was suggested, but the staff stated that anything that requires happiness won't have an individual item. Cut, Surf and Rock Smash don't require happiness, thus we have individual items for them. For Dive, Dig, Rock Climb and Headbutt, your Pokemon needs to be at a certain happiness and that is why there won't be any items replacing those moves' uses outside of battle. Edit: Singham's Post on Dive Mount (at least that's what I understand from it)
  19. Sentret/Furret please because it's the ultimate slave Pokemon. Also Breloom, because it's a perfect slave too.
  20. 5 more hashtags and people will drop their prices! Or not, because it doesn't work that way...
  21. Exactly what I was looking for. I don't know if I'll be using your website because old habits die hard, but it's definitely worth a try. Great job, thanks!
  22. :thanks: for you comments chameleon It is also the goal to lower prices, I see not how its bad if the shinys are cheaper in the game? (Knowing that the commons are not worth much already) And as I said before, 1 chance in 2000 is still rare, we will not see any difference given the few players active at the moment (and the rarest who agrees to pay a medallion) After that is my opinion, but I do not think you'll see the 'Channel Trade' spammer of Dratini Shinys. ^^ I didn't think about how many people would buy the "shiny stone" so my 1st post is quite inaccurate. Apologies for that. On the other hand, I don't believe "lowering the prices" always means "good". More shinies will indeed end up decreasing the values of Pokemon and anything farmable, but this also means decreasing the value of the time you put into this game. And (if I'm not wrong) this would also increase the prices of non-farmable items such as MS Medalion. I may be wrong here, but my explanation is below. Before the increased shiny chance: I can grind 500k. An epic Raticate costs 50k. After the increased shiny chance: I can still grind 500k. An epic Raticate now costs 25k. Raticate is farmable as you know. So the value of farming a Pokemon is decreased. The player can buy the same Pokemon in each case, but would have more money in their pocket in the 2nd scenario. And this is why I think non farmable items would increase in price. Because I can save more money on farmable items/Pokemon in game. And this results in IRL money having a lot of impact on the game. Your suggestion might not have an impact this severe, but this, imo, is what sort of an effect it would have. Correct me if I'm not thinking right.
  23. The shiny chance can be 1/10 and this could still be the case. It's all luck, nothing wrong here. Doubling the chances to find a shiny = double the amount of shinies in the market. Also means double the chance of finding epic shinies which could potentially hurt the economy. Unnecessary, in my opinion.
  24. Yeah, for some reason PRO's playerbase thinks MMO's should be a grind fest of mashing left and right arrows while clicking the left mouse button every 10 seconds. MMO's are all about grinding Cheers for the info mate, I didn't know
