  1. Well the thing is, I doubt many Fire type Pokemon will stay in against Ninetales when you switch it in, especially when they don't see the sun up. Also you have 0 means of recovery on the Ninetales build. Any fire type Pokemon with some sort of coverage has a considerable chance of getting rid of your Ninetales before the strategy succeeds. It's a very situational strategy and I don't see Ninetales pulling this off too often to be worth using. Besides, I don't think Disable works in PRO yet, correct me if I'm wrong. I like the fact that you're trying to think outside the box though.
  2. Yeah, for some reason PRO's playerbase thinks MMO's should be a grind fest of mashing left and right arrows while clicking the left mouse button every 10 seconds.
  3. I believe most people would prefer the ability to sync over shiny chance. A poll could provide a definite answer to that of course, I'm just assuming. If you think it's worth doing so, I would suggest you to get the opinions of others on Sync vs Shiny.
  4. Great write up. I agree. It should be fixed when possible because it's an important aspect of battling and could be decisive in a lot of cases.
  5. Morty is the only one so far that has it (it just so happens i was fixing that NPC when i had finished testing my new script out so i added the bits to that one). Others will get it also. Cooldown on these Bosses will be 12 days, not 14 also (as some bosses will require 5 wins, such as Sgath and keres, as you would get to pick 2 prizes from them). These prize pick pokemon will also have shiny chance aswell :) (but normal random prizes wont) Great news Thor, thanks for all the hard work!
  6. There's one in Sootopolis
  7. Your luck may be different to that of mine, but I'm definitely getting back more money than I spend with Pearls and Nuggets (sometimes big). Do you not get these items consistently, am I just luckier? Really curious. About the same as me. I started excavating a month ago, I used to smash fossils, see rare Pokemon flee (the likes of Beldum, Pawniard etc.) but now I have around 4800+ discoveries, I don't even smash fossils or see Pokemon flee. This has been the case for the past 2 weeks at least. I know that there's (or was) a revamp going on, but I believe we should've been notified. And now that a considerable amount of staff left, I think we deserve to get an announcement about the revamp or they could even revert it back to the way it was (if possible). The remaining staff are too busy I imagine, so I don't intend to push them at all but an explanation should be made because no one knows what's happening.
  8. Would it be the items or the pokemon, you think would cause this? If the items, as I just said in an earlier reply these can be replaced with any items as long the item is more useful then the items on the tier below it. If it's the pokemon, it would still the same thing with catch the pokemon elsewhere. The skrelp I use as an example, would be still as it's counterpart in hoenn, it's just a case of getting it in hoenn or in johto via this method. The whole point of the suggestion would be a way to make a basic mechanic more interesting, is it needed, no, it would it be a fun way to get some items and a chance, the same chance as always, for a cool, rare pokemon. It's the items. And apologies, I missed the part you talked about it, makes sense. So it's not exactly (or just) to incentivize fishing, but to add another fun feature to the game. Sounds good imo as long as it doesn't affect the economy in a bad way like you explained. +1 from me then.
  9. It's not a bad suggestion, sounds fun and all, don't get me wrong... But why would fishing need to be incentivized? I don't see the reason for it. And, imo, a feature like this would cause more inflation which is already one of the main problems with the game.
  10. Better than nothing imo. The hype's definitely gone, but the game is so dull these days. It'll add some more fun.
  11. I don't have a clue but why would the game be dead? The staff members who left may have had very important roles in PRO till now, but I highly doubt that they're irreplaceable.
  12. Great idea. And the rewards are just examples people, don't put much thought into them.
  13. Depends on what sort of a gaming laptop you're after and your budget of course. If you're not too bothered about upgrading the hardware in the long run, ASUS, MSI etc have quite a few good gaming laptops and have authorized sellers everywhere. If you want the ability to upgrade hardware in the future, you might want to go with Alienware or Clevo's laptops. I have heard really good things about Clevo and you can change/upgrade almost any component in it which is a huge bonus. If you're in the US, HIDEvolution sell Clevo laptops (EVOC in this case). Also fyi, the chassis belongs to Clevo while it's the OEMs who build the laptops and you will find a lot of the same chassis branded differently, such as EVOC, Sager etc. I'd recommend you to have a look here: https://forum.notebookreview.com/forums/sager-and-clevo.1017/ Best of luck and I hope you find what you're looking for very soon.
  14. When I first started excavating about 1 month ago, I used to find Noibats, Beldums, Pawniards and so on each and every day. Obviously I did not have enough discoveries to encounter them, they just fled. Now I have a lot of discoveries, but I never find those Pokemon. Don't even see them flee. According to this post, there's a revamp going on with the sites. I just wish they let us know beforehand or even during the revamp, and tell us what has changed/what is being changed.
  15. What sort of skills? Battling skills?
  16. Pokemon mechanics should be untouched. With your "n exp" idea, it'll be impossible to build teams based on anything because your 6x31 IV Adamant Multiscale Dragonite can be taken out by a Rattata if the opposing trainer has enough exp for it. Why would I use an extremely rare Dragonite in that case, when I can just catch rats and bats everywhere, train them to get enough exp, and lmao @ the opponent when I OHKO their extremely rare Pokemon. I don't agree with your "n exp" idea. As I said, Pokemon mechanics should be untouched so we can build teams based on the beautiful mechanics which is already there.
  17. A suggestion should include some sort of reasoning. Why do you want these changes? How will the game/players benefit if these changes were approved? Or do you 'just want' them?
  18. This would be a massive help. However, I believe the "going to PC to release Pokemon" might be there as a money sink. I don't know if the staff would like removing that sink. May be if releasing a Pokemon outside of PCs costed a certain amount, like $10-50 or more, it could be a decent replacement as a sink.
  19. I definitely don't like the grind as far as hunting pokes is concerned. So I just buy the epics I want since I don't want to spend the time hunting them. THAT is truly unnecessarily time consuming, not this silly idea about EV training being too time consuming. Dont like it? Deal with it  Considering that something similar has already been suggested making a duplicate thread regurgitating the same complaint is pointless. How exactly do you find the in game money to buy those epics? I'm curious. There's nothing silly about it. This suggestion is based on a mechanic that is in the official games, which won't hurt PRO. Not something I made up. I believe the suggestion you're talking about suggests a coin shop item which would boost EV gains. While it may look similar to my suggestion, I don't necessarily agree that it's an effective way of dealing with it. Real life money, imo, shouldn't have that much of an impact on a simple feature. This also isn't a complaint, it's a suggestion. Complaint is an expression of dissatisfaction, whereas a suggestion would need to have an idea attached. And I felt the need to create this thread after finding out that there's a considerable amount of people who don't know what Power Items are. That's why I don't see any problems with me starting this thread. I'm certainly not spamming anything and you have the freedom to report this thread if you don't agree.
  20. Unnecessarily time consuming =/= difficult. Let's get that straight first because I did not mention "difficult" or "hard" in my original post. Never said it isn't or shouldn't be. And just because they were added for convenience in the official games, doesn't mean they shouldn't be included in an MMO. Why do we have Macho Brace? This is an MMO. Why do we have mounts or bikes? This is an MMO. Why do we have a transportation system? This is an MMO. Why did they add a Boss Cooldown Checker NPC? This is an MMO. And so on... Power Items won't break the game or make it WAY easier. Chill out. They're only for convenience. It isn't just boring, it's taking an unnecessary amount of time which in my opinion, should be shortened. And yeah, "It's just time consuming". Not hard which aren't the same things. I don't like it and that doesn't mean I should find a daycare. That's not the only way. Even games that sell millions improve with customer feedback and suggestions. The solution isn't always in game, it could be added. And you don't know if I choose to give my Pokemon to daycares already. If I was asking to be spoon fed, I would've asked for free Vitamins. Not Power Items. So you have to stop hallucinating stuff. Also please stop with the "this is an MMO bla bla" argument on everything. You're not the only person in the world that knows what an MMO is. MMOs have a balance between grinding and convenience. I believe Power Items is a needed implementation to add to the game's convenience as I have explained. You don't think so? Ok, I'm fine with that. Saying "this is an MMO, it should take time" does not explain a thing. Yeah good point, but not on this thread. Because I didn't make this suggestion based on people who have "real lives". I've been VERY free lately and I've played this game at least 6-7hrs a day for the past 2-3 weeks or so. I still find the time it takes to EV train unnecessary. Please quit explaining what an MMO is, we know. Oh wow, PRO is an MMO. That's new. And yes, to an extent. And in my opinion, that extent isn't met with the current EV training mechanics. You have every right to disagree, but not to describe what an MMO is as I already have the knowledge. Calling them "WIN braces" makes 0 sense btw, as they don't help you win, they help you save time.
  21. What are Power Items? https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/EV-enhancing_item There are 6 Power Items, one for each stat. They half the speed of the holder and add +4 EVs in a stat (depending on the item) after fainting a Pokemon basically. Example: Your Pokemon is holding a Power Weight. Your Pokemon faints a wild Pidgey. Your Pokemon gains +1 Speed EV from the Pidgey and +4 HP EVs from the Power Weight. Why I think we need them: Macho Brace certainly helps with EV training, but I don't think it's anywhere near as convenient as Power Items are/would be. I know this is an MMO, it needs to be challenging and all that. But this game already has enough challenges as well as other content such as quests. I don't see the need to make players spend extra time on the EV training aspect of the game. Power Items would reduce the time needed to EV train a Pokemon by about 50-70%, with the convenience of sticking to a single spot while doing that too. Keeping players for longer periods of times is definitely an important thing in MMOs, but there are already loads of more fun stuff in the game. PRO doesn't need to keep its players unnecessarily busy on a boring procedure, because there's enough content in the game to spend time on each and every day. If implemented, how should they be obtained? This is all down to the staff's decision really. However these items can be quest rewards. Either a completely new one or even from the quests that are already there, such as the Celadon City Daily Quest. Boss rewards is another alternative, but I'm personally not too keen on that simply because there are 6 of these items and getting each one of them would take 12 weeks minimum. They should certainly not be coin shop items in my opinion. _ I would be happy to read your opinions on this, for or against.
  22. Why does it have less than 65 Def? Decent Photoshop skills though, I'll give u that.
  23. Not gonna happen when the servers are barely even half full.
  24. Chameleon

    Pvp

If the Weavile is faster than Talonflame, that is true.
  25. Talonflame is in a VERY different category to any other PvP Pokemon though. Not farmable, has a low encounter rate, needs to have hidden ability, rated as one of the top 3 Pokemon in the viability rankings etc. I don't even play on Red and I'm not good with prices anyway but as things stand, Talonflame cannot be compared to other PvP Pokemon.
