A competition's main motivation is usually, if not always, the prize so they have all the right to complain if they're not happy with it, imo. Like how the initial prizes were disliked by a good amount of people, mainly those on Red. The attitude is another thing ofc. Everyone has to be respectful when sharing their opinions. (I'm not saying those who are complaining were disrespectful, I haven't read much of the discussion)

4:54 to 5:13 in the video. Fake Out fails with no apparent reason.

https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=336050#p336050 Compound Eyes is listed in the "Not yet coded abilities" list, you might wanna remove that considering Shane's post above.

Limiting it to the lucky and the rich doesn't solve the problem and considering how it was way easier to farm earlier, it's fairness could also be down to discussion. And as you said, there are numerous ways of countering it which don't necessarily have to be specific counters for Talon and can also be useful in every team you come up against. Apparently so. Too bad I wasn't around when it was easier to farm them (had to take a break) also quite frustrating for the newer players. On average, I encounter 1 Fletchling in total every 2 days on 2 different accounts. I could somehow agree that it shouldn't be 'easy' to farm, but I believe it should not be this hard either. There needs to be bit more of a balance.
-
That's something I can definitely agree on. A top 3 ranked Pokemon in terms of viability shouldn't be this hard to obtain. I've been headbutting for the past 3-4 months every day and I didn't get a single h.a. Fletchling (also been headbutting on 1 more acc for the past month).

Oh right. My bad, sorry.

You're just stating facts. This is a thread that suggests this should be changed.

I'm very lovable. I hope the rarities @ excavation sites won't change that in a negative way. (hint hint)

how did you know what I'm up to next >.> You have no idea how much I love you right now.

Good stuff. Move onto Excavation Revamp please.
-
It would be a great way to make money but would remove a very important money sink for the game. So probably won't happen.
-
It's not a bug. But in my opinion, Pokemon should be able to learn pre-evolution moves in PRO. https://pokemonrevolution.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=52293

Couldn't agree more.

"Revamp" at Excavation Sites. What is happening?

BUMP Agreed. Really limits our team options and end game is all about PvP -
Well, Shane just said Focus Sash and Weakness Policy will cost 2 PvP coins. I still have concerns about this as this means you can only afford to get a single Focus Sash/Weakness Policy per 2 wins. And if you lose just one of the said items per PvP battle (win or a loss) you'll need to win 2 extra PvP battles (without them...the irony) to be able to afford another one which will probably be used in the next battle. Yes "they are PVP rewards.. for.. PVPing" but this doesn't make the usage of them viable. Why do I need/use a Focus Sash/Weakness Policy? To win PvP battles. How do I get them? By winning PvP battles. I don't see the point in this. I can understand the non consumable PvP items costing PvP coins to a certain extent, as you won't need to replace them constantly. But I still don't see the point in making FS/WP buyable only using PvP coins. You'll have to have a positive win record. Even if you win every battle you have, you'll only be able to use 1 FS/WP in half of your battles. Buying from other players is an option, but they'll cost roughly 10k each and you'll have to waste your time trying to find someone who sells them and preferably in bulk... I don't agree with this decision.
-
RC is made untradable because we have the concern someone who stocked up the rare candy will take advantage of it given the NPC no longer sells it. And the next thing you know rare candy price will be 100k each, and people will start complaining about it like they do for MS prices. But now you'll see people selling "RC service for 100k" instead (where people trade their Pokemon to someone who has candies) and scam reports everywhere.
-
The NPCs that sells the items for pokedollar iare gone for good. They were never intended to be there, and was mistakenly added. The price of consumable pvp items MIGHT change. And I MIGHT be able to add those items as boss reward. That's all I can say at the moment. That'll make the usage of those items less viable (or not viable at all depending on the cost) which will lead to a less healthy PvP environment. I hope you guys keep this in mind when making changes/decisions.
-
Add vendors instead. No one's gonna build a team depending on a boss reward or a positive PvP record. You need to have a positive PvP record if FS/WP cost 1c each, assuming you consume 1 per battle.
-
Lol. You can't just dictate what strategy people are choosing to go with. Rare candies may be more important, but that doesn't take any importance away from Focus Sash & Weakness Policy.
-
Well, that's not too bad but keep in mind that even if they cost 1 PvP coin, that's about 5k. And more importantly, you need to have a positive W-L record in order to keep getting your own Focus Sashes if you consume 1 sash per game(assuming they cost 1 coin). That is if you have only 1 FS/WP holder.
-
Focus Sash and Weakness Policy currently cost 20 PvP coins to obtain and they are consumable, i.e. they disappear after they're used. (Focus Sash is also obtainable from bosses) 20 PvP coins means 20 PvP wins and costs roughly around 100k (give or take) in today's economy if you wanted to buy from another player. I don't see the logic behind this. These items are used in order to win PvP battles, but you need to win PvP battles in order to obtain them!?!? And you either need to get rid of your hard earned 20 PvP coins or 100k (+/-) only to use them for a single battle. With the Focus Sash vendor gone, it's clearly not viable to have a Focus Sash holder in your PvP team. Same with Weakness Policy. There's no problem with these items being consumable, but they cost way too much to be worth using. I appreciate every staff members' efforts, but I kindly ask you to think about this very important topic.
-
The vendor doesn't even sell them anymore.
-
They serve as a good and necessary money sink, so it won't happen. Though I could suggest something like monthly transportation ticket, for about 250-500k which would allow us to use the transportation services without paying for each of them individually for a month. It would still serve as a great money sink but would also be helpful for players who like to travel a lot.

I tried to post this to the other thread before it got locked but was too late. Thought this'd be a good time to bring this up while Shane's working on fixing hazards. The weather inducing abilities of Pokemon should not activate if they faint to entry hazards, but this isn't how it works in PRO unfortunately. Example; Politoed with Drizzle switches into hazards and faints, the rain activates in PRO. But it should not. Thanks.
