I mean, it's skill based. Just create a team that can withstand multiple move-types or get Pokemon with a diverse moveset so you can counter your weaknesses. If you could also change Pokemon whilst not knowing what your opponent will swap into it would be a completely random match-up; similar to a start of a battle where first turn swaps are regular. It would essentially break the meta...

You're correct. No PvP mode on any of the Pokemon games has let you switch out after a KO.

I think they didn't implement this to make battles seem more like online ones's. As it's unfair for you to keep sending out the best match-ups to just sweep the opponent. It would make bosses and such a lot easier and less rewarding. Doubt they will implement this :confused:

If you are worried that your account is banned you can check here. When you made this post did you check if the servers were online? They were offline for a while Yesterday. Can you also get a screenshot of nay message you get when trying to log in? Hope this helps

Sometime the server status takes a while to update, especially when there is a crash. Just wait a while and try again.

I am clicking that, and I have no 3rd party anti virus stuff, its all what is built in. Hmm, odd. I too am running Windows 10 with the build in anti-virus, Windows Defender. Try disabling it in the settings then enabling it after you finish the install.

Completely reinstall the game. Delete it from your downloads folder (Or wherever you saved it) Run CCleaner.
