An option to disable all environment effects would be nice. Sometimes I play on my Android and can't see what's going on at night even on max brightness.

My examples are things that have been changed in a discreet manner. I'm a big fan of surprises myself, but only when things are added. The way jirachi was added, for example. There wasn't a giant message from staff saying you can get jirachi if you follow steps 1-7 etc--and that was all in good fun. But when things are removed or switched and players cannot detect them, it sucks. I can't look in my pokedex and see where to get headbutt, rarities, boss, quest, and sites. What I'm getting at is surprises should be exclusively for gifts. "SURPRISE! Instead of getting a new present, we're taking away last years!", "SURPRISE! Your tax rate has been raised to 35%!" These examples are overly melodramatic but the rhetoric stays the same, people don't like bad surprises. For example, normally I headbutt for venipede; but, I haven't seen one for a week. I don't have a damnedest clue whether they were removed or if I just got unlucky. Thor does a relatively good job of giving hints within respective guides, but it'd be nice to have condensed staff verified notes to work from to be sure when things are changed/removed.

These detail not need to show from my opinion, also these information you can get easy from community. About the rarity, the staff adjust overtime, so it need to post update overtime? About some quest or feature adding, they always announcement (as doctor quest and valley of steel). About pokemon removed, you always can check it by pokedex, or ask in help chat for community have data pokemon already. The patchnote should be only noticed to the major thing, about the minor thing it is not need and will be risk if other games using it in they game. And also many guide make by community, not by staff (as it not part or job of staff doing it). The effort and make by themselves (community) should be the main point with community in MMO game. Pokedex doesn't show rarity or headbutt locations. More work done/progress made ties into a happier community. People feel more inclined to donate when they actively see a game build. This is the primary reason PRO has Community Coordinators, to breach the gap between staff and player. But, I appreciate your input and hope we get more of it.

Is this too much to ask? Is the community strong enough to fill the gaps? I'm not sure. Currently it seems patch-notes are limited to Shane's endeavors and major projects. Example: Removed Fletchinder from Trainers Valley New trees have been added to Sevault canyon Whimsicott has been added to Sevault canyon (headbutt) Pangoro removed from Sites Piplup removed from sites Daycare quest implemented (start at Brock in Pewter city) Pangoro moved to Daycare quest Rarity of snorlax has been increased to extremely rare Rarity of Beldum has been decreased to rare Edit: Emphasis on making notes on changes made to pre-existing features/mechanics/etc.

+1 I only do Erika and Pumpkin king atm

The most unavoidable obstacle to code around is detection. Even the most randomized movements have patterns that can be detected. I see a lot of botters, actually. But, I don't see them for long. They are baited by the relative simplicity of creating one/finding one for PRO, without taking into consideration how blatantly obvious it is to see. In fact, a captcha would probably make it more difficult to ban them because their bot would shut down in intervals where they are away--limiting "suspicious behavior" reported by the community.

Whatever you did to trainers valley...put it back please... "Hey you know what that already obsolete area that costs 15k to enter zone really needs?" "Less fletchinders. Or none." "Genius." Pls no

Bosses shouldn't require all six pokemon. They've been scaled to level 120 to offset the fact their AI is flawed; their lineups are static and often consist of lower tier pokemon. What legendaries they use are sent out last and give plenty of time to set up on...Having a pokemon required/recommended to get there adds another layer of difficulty not possible by other means. If they scale the levels to say, 150, it won't be more difficult, it will be impossible. You will be outsped and KO'd with every single attack, with no chance to set up or counterattack. These minute mechanics are a tool to increase difficulty while still allowing you to strategize against it. Deal with it.

Pokemon removed from excavation sites

Pangoro and Piplup were removed And i think Scraggy -
I think what he's requesting is a "group" function wherein you can couple several chats together in one. For example, I want to see all chat and trade chat; I create my own chat called "Boop", and it can function as both Which is currently unsupported. Filter method is a means most games use--new channels are created with all permissions (like 'local') then filtered out subchannels by the user.

Nobody is guaranteed anything but a dex entry for X (determined by staff) days. We still have to deal with correct ability, nature, and ivs. That's still less than 1% chance of getting a solid pokemon. Having a participation medal, well...encourages participation. Bosses are on a two week cooldown and most rewards they give have become obsolete. Only erika and pumpkin king give pvp tier unique pokemon. I might add these are sweepers which might help break the stale, stall-only, pvp setting currently in PRO. Also take into consideration that most MMO's do not have a two week cooldown for a boss with drop-rates this low. PRO has a smaller population and instead of getting limited by one best in set for helmet, rings, boots etc, we all want varying teams (dozens of pokemon); this means there is far less circulating. It's not a "grind", it's a waiting game and all the community is asking for is some subtle participation rewards. The methods and degree of which are determined by you.

This "feature" is undoubtedly the most annoying thing i have found in PRO. Whatever benefit it gives is at most situational and at least 95% of the time i would rather dodge the battle. When the (!) appears you can logout and when you come back you can move out of the way. Most players know this, and most players do this. No doubt this has a substantial strain on the servers. I've talked with staff about this before and the problem apparently lies in that the trainers are coded individually, so it's not a "fix line 323 0 to a 1" and it's fixed. Each trainer has to be done one by one. It's an annoyance not something that needs a priority for their staff.

What I would do if the parent survives is buy the best X in the game and clone it repeatedly. So everyone with money could have a 31 31 29 30 30 29 X as well. If this is what is enabled in your suggestion i think it's dumb. What I think you're suggesting is just a method to revert the pokemon to an earlier stage because you screwed up a prior evolution move or simply evolved too early. Reverse rare candies might serve the same purpose of this and be easier to code; albeit with less appeal to some Eragon fanboy egg-hatching design.

Rotom is all but unobtainable, i'd rather not fight something unless I have a chance in hell of obtaining it also. And I love you Deathwing, but your boss is a major scrooge and disappointment.

Single use hoenn teleporter as boss reward for Youngster Joey
Pearljam replied to Antideluvian's topic in Suggestions
Or better yet have all 3 region options in all the main city subways/docks -
OT required and reroll ONE stat instead of auto 25--MAYBE. Even then, I don't think this is needed

Delete this post please it's duplicate from misclick :(

I don't see anything wrong with it besides the note that they have to revert names upon trade...To avoid the the aforementioned problems staff had with the concept. I'm not sure how complex the new system will be but i expect finding syncs wont be as difficult as it is currently
-
Are you implying that colorblindness affects how you see the pokemons stats? You can always google the natures even if they weren't color coded like with handheld games.
-
My sample size is relatively high but in Hoenn specifically I only get around a 30% success rate for synchronize. Did they change it or am I just really unlucky? :Frown:

You mean Hypno isn't always useless?

This +1 I would also like to see certain keywords omit your message in certain chats. If your message contains something censored, do not send to chat but keep the output viewable to sender. For example: Say potato was a curse word. Person says potato. Person sees he sent potato on his screen. Nobody else sees that person said something. He gets to rage whilst thinking he's still getting attention. I see trolls all too often bypass the censor asterisks directly after they see they were censored; potato ---> potat0 If your message contains wtb/wts in something other than trade, omit message and send a prompt with "Trade tab and forums is the platform for sales". All chat is a misnomer in that new people think it means just that--all. However, I think the code reads the outputs rather than input so I don't know if this is possible/easy.

Can we make talonflame(fletching) more normal ??
Pearljam replied to Bigdanny's topic in Suggestions
The rarity is fine. You're basically guaranteed one hidden ability every week if you headbutt 1-2 times a day. In addition Trainers valley is kind of the middleground between johto and kanto, before hoenn the only reason I would change my home pc location was to trade. -
How about each boss has say a 5% (whatever) chance of giving their iconic pokemon, and if not then you receive 1 to X tokens (depending on boss difficulty) and these tokens are credits for a salesman NPC: The NPC contains: Rotom, Larvesta, Ferrothorn, Scizor, Inkay, Foongus, all Naero's babies, beldum, starters, sun stone, black belt, timburr, riolu, darumaka, eevee, sableye etc [glow=red]This would also be a great method to include items Shane is currently working on introducing to the game[/glow]: Life orb, Choice items, Rocky helmet, eviolite etc If a pokemon requires more than two full rounds of all bosses (4 weeks), it would be nice to have a method to instead encounter this pokemon like with Gingery Jones--so that we can use a sync.
