  4. thanks :) Logically, this makes sense--how can you learn if you did it correctly. But the drop-off is a little ridiculous once you reach say 2000. Your would-be experience gain is deteriorated by high rates of trash mons, repels, water, and pokedollars. Might I suggest buffing the experience gain on success?
  5. I would rather not make another supertank readily accessible. The meta is boring as it is until we get Damage steroid items. However, making venipede able to be found in the wild i could get behind. Extremely rare, headbutt only, and hidden ability required.
  6. Well, they since they already have a system to check the hidden power during a battle--I wouldn't think it that hard to shift it over in a more aesthetic fashion. But, I'm no coder so best I can do is ask hehe

  8. I suggest a tab within the PC that opens up a hidden power calculator. Drag and drop your pokemon and hit "Calculate" and have it read back the hidden power type. Please don't kill me for suggesting something to do with the PC revamp. I know it has been brought up a thousand times; this is unique :Smile: Short and simple :thanks:

  10. For your convenience I have made a Google spreadsheet with all viable pokemon for pvp. These are either currently in use or are limited something I believe will be added in the future. Everyone should be able to understand how to decipher it. Unviable generally means the pokemon is garbage until something in their set is introduced, hindered means it can perform--but not to its potential. I've added rarity as a general guideline for people that want to utilize the said pokemon. I might add a pvp rating (1-10 for example) but this doesn't seem very objective. Things I would appreciate and will add in the document: List of missing TMs missing from listed pokemon moveset (coded but not obtainable outside learnset) List of uncoded moves and abilities missing from listed pokemon If you want to reorganize this post to make it look neater you can message me the text and I will edit If I know you in-game and you want an invitation to edit the document, message me in-game Any errors you see.   11. In order for the gold sink mechanics for the excavation sites to work as intended, there needs to be incentive for people to burn money. There are two reasons for me to go to excavate currently, and they aren't overly appealing: Pancham and Foongus. Everything else I can find is either trash, have no use for, or I can find in the open world for free. As it stands in my mind, I'm paying ~50k a day doing a chore that won't even yield a CHANCE at the already UNLIKELY outcome I want until a few weeks later. I understand I shouldn't expect to jump right in and find a perfect pokemon everytime, but with this recent change we all seriously lack incentive. Either level off the risk of wasting time and money doing site runs(candies/nuggets not escape rope/repels), or give a dramatic extreme that would warrant the effort(froakie/snivy/klefki/pawniard).

  13. I'd like PRO's rarity setting to be viewable, but everything else can be googled :Cool: Like for example we would look at bulbasaur and see either a flat probability 1 in 845 or whatever, or a 1-10 scale rating, like '7'.

    Aside from mapping aesthetics we will stay true to the handheld games. With that being said fakemon wont be implemented. Mega Flygon? :Frown: :Frown:
  15. Given that all moves/abilities that affect encounter rate have been disabled to prevent this...i doubt this will be implemented
  16. I recommend you play with rubber ducky in hand and make these sound effects yourself. Rubber ducky required for full experience
  17. I recall a post by Red stating he was willing to change the encounter rates for pokemon. This means they are all coded individually, so sorting them by rarity/desirability would be a *PG13* nightmare :Frown:

  19. Blaziken will definitely need to be banned once protect is working. He was banned in uber tier for a while... Fact of the matter is the meta revolves around which abilities are working. Designing rules for a super-fluid system is wasted effort imo. There are no current "OP" pokemon, just a few normal OU that actually have working movesets and abilities. Most tanks use leftovers, we have that, so pvp is a just boring toxic regenerator stall extravaganza :y:
