Greetings, sorry to read that. Staff won't interfere with giving starters to players as it would open the box of Pandora. But, as you might know due to playing Kanto and Johto, any starter can be obtained later on in the wild. Apart from that, you can't blame lag for chosing the wrong option. Best regards, try to enjoy your game nevertheless.
