Hello VHSenpai, you can always look up the base xp here -> Pokemon DB and see for yourself, you will need way more XP to level up the pokemon if you evolve them, a LVL50 Magikarp levels way faster than a lvl50 Gyarados for example. Have a nice day!

Hello Alechan, first of all, I am sorry for the inconvenience. Did you check every box for the pikachu? The staffs can not give you the pokemon back if you don't have the ID/ the release message, on top of that; they clean the database after a few days so if it was before the update they can not reinstate it anyway.
