There's nothing wrong with introducing any kind of cosmetic; if you don't like them, you don't have to wear them, so what's the problem? You're complaining about having to look at them? That's ridiculous. The possibilities for wings in this game are numerous, too, which makes this suggestion even worse. Wings based on actual Pokemon are possible and would "make sense" (which seems to be one of your complaints), so to outright say wings should never be implemented is an extremely narrow suggestion that actually hurts creativity rather than nurturing it.

Okay, you may now post! If you're wondering "Why the new thread?", the reason is that I ran out of characters in one of my posts (40,000) and wasn't able to update and start on the Sevii Islands. One easy way around this is to split the spawn guides between posts, which is why I reserved so many this time. Don't forget to update your bookmarks! Guide Out of Commission Some data may be outdated, invalid, or missing. There are no current plans to continue the guide. The purpose of a Spawn Guide™ on PRO is to help players who are missing PokeDex data. If you already have the data of a Pokemon, there's no reason not to use your PokeDex instead. Note that I don't have a completed Dex, therefore you should expect temporarily missing data, but I strive to update this as quickly and comprehensively as possible. You can submit location data to be added in this thread, however it isn't required; I'll actively try to find data for you. Ctrl + F is your friend. That's not true, the time it takes to do anything in this game is important. You have a certain amount of time until NPCs reset, a certain amount of variable time before someone gives up waiting for you to come buy a Pokemon, a certain amount of time that is spent to earn a certain variable amount of money in Dragon's Den, a certain amount of time spent finding new encounters before you see a Shiny or a rare, a certain amount of time until a Pokemon is fully EV'd, so on and so forth. And while a few seconds or milliseconds scraped off every action aren't "too much" at first, the waste increases exponentially over time, until you're underperforming by orders of magnitude. Time matters. A lot. While the game is in beta and that is a valid reason for the countless problems that will inevitably surface, there will never be issues unworthy of criticism, including but not limited to this one. If no one criticizes things at this stage, it means they don't care. PRO is very fortunate to have players that do care.

Making bikes useful in caves and transition buildings makes them more desirable, which makes them more successful cash sinks. Keeping them useless in places they aren't on the handhelds is artificial difficulty, not to be confused with natural difficulty; there's nothing fun or substantial about it. All artificial difficulty will ever do is make players hate aspects of your game, which is the opposite of what you want. There's no good reason not to be able to use them in those places.

But... why is this pinned? First of all, there are no citations provided for anything anyway, and that's ironic in a thread about lies when not providing reliable sources enables lies from ignorance. Add to this the fact that it has nothing to officially do with PRO or the forums and you have a pointlessly pinned thread. This is no different than any other Off-Topic thread. Sorry, it bothers me when privilege is misused like this.
