Botting isn't something that started recently, and they don't just suddenly "inject" those money into the market. Also when botters are banned, there were actually a significant amount of money + epic pokemons that got permanently buried with them. So in theory, it should create a better economy. Even if botters try to come back, it should take them time to recover from story progress and they can't just gain access to Ceru cave and start farming like crazy. However, that's not what actually happened, there are a lot less bots on the server now than before(given at one point, all servers are capped at population; and it's not even half full now), but the economy has became a lot worse than before. Bots are not the only problem. I remember the week after the mass ban, the price of MS went from ~350k to 500k. And it took the economy about 2 months to get MS price from 300k to 350k(which people weren't even willing to pay the full 350), and one week from 350 to 500.
-
I'm stating a fact that before nuking the 3000 bots, MS was at a steady 300k for a few months. Within one month of the nuke, the MS price has gone from 300k to 800k. Whether there is a correlation between the two, that's up to you to find out. If they are making 3m/day now, they were making 3m/day before the mass ban, and that did not destroy the economy. I'm not saying botters shouldn't be banned, they should. But before that, you need to investigate why banning the 3000 botters have actually made this economy worse, whether it's the lose of players or the mass ban had actually back fired and there are a lot more botters than there used to. This is the same in any MMO, I remember when I used to play DFO, I would farm for a whole week to get a shop item that's worth about $10. Working in real life to get money to buy in game stuff is always more efficient than working in game to get in game stuff(especially cash-only stuff). This has always been the case, and will always be. Spending two days(or maybe less) to get a membership that lasts for a whole month is on the better side of all the MMOs I have played.

Nothing you can do about it, server crashed in boss fights happens very often. Better luck next time. I personally got disconnected twice when fighting pumpkin king, that's some bad luck.
-
1. The staff already made an effort a month ago, that banned over 3000 botters. The MS price before the huge ban is 300k, the MS price now is 800k. It backfired in a way you can't imagine. 2. Agree with you on this one, need money sink for late game.

This game CAN be played without MS, I know it because I played my first 200 hrs without it. If you think you have to get a MS to enjoy the game, think twice. Don't be the one that complains about MS price, and won't spend real money to buy it. If you don't want to buy it(with real money or not), no one is forcing you to, enjoy the game without MS.

Don't post this here, just report them to GM when they are in-game, be like "these people here are suspicious". The GM will handle it, if you post here and they happen to be in the forum, you are dodging the bullets for them.

Cool idea, doubt it will be implemented. A similar achievement system is being considered, as far as i know.

If it's a epic one you planning on leveling to 100 and use for pvp, don't evolve until lv 97 or so. Otherwise it will be impossible(not really, just really really hard) to level it to max level. But yes, it should be able to evolve at lv 20.

Give me the account and start over.

What qualities make a charmander epic?
Lazypanda69 replied to Joejoe913's topic in General Game Talk
The most important attribute for Charizard is mega evolution, and since that's not available Charizard is not really that strong in PRO. That being said, it's still viable to play Charizard, and the best nature would be timid(because of the lack of choice spec), ability could be Solar Beam if you want to put him into a Sun Team, otherwise Blaze is ok. EV full speed + spatk. -
Can you tell me what is the difference between Rose and Veno now? Rose is stronger than Veno because it has a pokemon wth high IVs. Before; For a weak i was hunting for "sneasel"s and i got a lot of them; You know that the first one that brother has hunted was better than all that what i hunted. Can you tell me where is the hard work of the player here?? Can you tell me where is the skills of the player here?? Or only you are stronger because you have the luck to get a pok with high IVs?? I personally do not have any luck, I hunted for over 300 sneasels to get a decent(not epic) one that has 31 speed. People do hunt relentlessly for good pokemon, and I'm one of the patience hunters. Hunting takes patience, and that itself is a skill. Also the skills lies in pvp, where a better skilled players can easily beat noobs who has all epics with predictions and knowledge about movesets. Sure some people get lucks and get an epic sneasel first try, and it takes someone else 300 tries to get a decent one. But luck is just luck, it's not gonna happen for every single pokemon you hunt. Sometimes your hunt is better than someone else's, sometimes someone else's is better than yours. It took me a full week of hunting to get the electabuzz that I want, and It may take someone else only a few minutes. But it's fine with me because I know that's not gonna happen for every pokemon I hunt. Luck is a factor of the game, just as in real life. If you are complaining about lack of luck here, I wonder how you would feel when someone in real life wins million dollar lottery and you win nothing.

If it's doable, there will be people who can do it. In translation, if you don't set a limit to how far they can grow, there will be people who are able to get 999 on all status. That's why I suggested putting a limit of 5 increased base iv(which is already a lot) on pokemon and making it very expensive to actually do it. 5 increased iv to a maximum of 25, that's putting a limit on the idea so it doesn't get 999. Also the reason why pokemon is so attractive is because each Pokemon is Unique, what would be the difference between Rose and Veno if they are both say 300 in all stats?

I don't think that the price of the shiny will shut down. Its not sure, and remember that shiny had ivs and nature! if yours is a [Censored] your are F*****, perhaps the others tradable will be better. And some people will prefere grind money, other try hard pvp. I suggest this because this will be awesome for the players, and motivate the players to continu to play. I have an other archive for the ticket, give one ticket when u reached 1000h. Only a very small group of players are actually interested in shinies. Maybe everyone is interested, but only a very small group of players are both interested and have the extra budget to play around it. Shiny is meant to be a late game collection, it's meant to be very very difficult to get, it's meant to be very very rare that only very few people are able to afford to collect all the shinies. Introducing this defeats the whole purpose of shinies. I agree that PvP should have better reward, but not shinies.
-
Not gonna happen bro, the price of a shiny charmander is like 20m, being top 1 in pvp does not get you free 20m. You will get special reward as top1, but no free 20m. And pokes that are rarer than charmander are more expensive(ex: fletch). Being #1 in PvP is an achievement, but not one that's worth 20m. And i don't think any achievement in the game should be rewarded freelo 20m. Also anything that's guaranteed to give you certain pokemon is not gonna be implemented ever in PRO(I think), unless the time you spend getting that guaranteed pokemon is 10 times greater than the time that you would actually use to grind for it statistically. EX: if statistically speaking, you get in average one shiny charmander every 1500 hrs of grind, they can implement a system where if you spend 9000 hrs farming charmander, you are guaranteed to get a shiny charmander. This method is used in some games as a "fail safe" to prevent certain really bad luck players from raging, but if you have normal luck, you should be able to get a shiny charmander in 1500hrs(just as example). I said that the pokemon can't be trade, so their is no price. And of u prefere grind 20m for a pokemon who haven't your ot its your choice. I prefere hunt my but i can't because the chance are too low. The best way is to hunt for money. And i don't find pleasur with that, and its Why a stop plaing frequently. The problem is not you can't trade it, just by letting someone have it decrease it's value significantly. Say I have 5 people on the server who actually want the shiny charmander and have what enough money to pay for it, they fight each other over the price of it, thus making the price of a shiny charmander really high, like 20. Now all of the sudden, 3 of those people are no longer interested in it because they get one of their own from being top at PvP. The price of charmander will drop, regardless of whether the shinies they get from pvp reward is tradable, because there are less demand. PvP reward should always be something that you can't get from other places whether it's outfits or items, first is to make it unique, second is to not break the pre-existing economy.
-
You are pretty much breaking the fundamental of Pokemon PvP. With what you are proposing, it create a HUGE gap between normal players and no-life players(no offense) and potentially bot-ers. What you would see if this is actually in the game is in PvP, a well trained shiny rattata rekt every single opponent pokemon and does not take any damage because all it's stats are 999. Every game needs to have a limit, rattata is supposed to be weak, it's not a pokemon that's meant to be rekting everyone else, let it stay that way. However, if we change the mechanism and have a potion(or something alike) you can buy for 1m(the price can vary) each, and be used on pokemons to increase base iv to max of 25(only limit maybe 5 use per pokemon). Or something like a (very expensive)nature-reroll potion to let you reroll the nature to another random nature. Something like this will actually balance the game economy without breaking the basic mechanism of the game.

Pawniard is really rare, I get like one pawniard every 3 days or so. beldum is common, get average 2/day, aron/absol/clauncher/tympole are all pretty common if you are high enough on the excav points. Timbur is fairly common. But excav sites are bugged now and they are reworking it, that's probably why you are not getting anything. There's a separate topic on this. BTW I never get noibat, so I think they either removed it or It only spawn at certain time frame that I always miss.
-
sure sounds like a bug. But I don't think it will be a priority, because magnet rise is not very common in PvP(unlike moves like drain punch that will have much higher priority).

I have the most pokemons. why do i do a hard work and wait a long time for a luck that maybe or not to get a pokemon i have it and with better stat. The best to way to get rare or strong pokemons is by buying them at trade, this does not need a time and luck, money are a sure thing that you can get it with many activities. For the archeologie i am an expert at archeologie but also the luck; until now i didn't find a fossil, and a fossil is not a great thing u get it; you need a luck to get a fossil and you need more luck to get a strong pokemon from that fossil, (luck x luck). I thank you very much for your replay. good luck. :Nervous: That's why I don't do it, because it's not the effort. I just mean some of the pokemons you get there do not spawn in the wild, which means if you need one for dex or evo, you have to either buy it or do the quest(and the guy you buy from is getting it from the quest). And some of the pokemon you get is actually super rare that you otherwise would have to spend 1hr or more to grind for. Also sync works, which makes the chance of getting something worthy even higher. FWIW, you don't need super luck to make Excav sites worth, if you just get 1 rare candy from each trip, it's worth the money, let alone the pokemons you get. I get average 2 timbur + 1 beldum + 1 ferroseed everyday, which would otherwise take you 3-4 hrs to find if you farm in the wild. At the end of days, not everyone has the money to spam buy everything, so these are just good areas for regular players to make some money and get more chance of getting good/epic pokemons.
-
You have to work your way up, the starting rewards are meh, but as you rank up, you can get pokemons that you can't get from anywhere else. It's just like Excav sites, if you rank up you can get rare fossils and pokemons like pawniard that you just can't get from anywhere else. But yes, it's a daily quest, no "ultimate reward".

You are in an event right now, the summer event.

I get that they have lives, and I'm in no way blaming them. I'm simply pointing out that they should know their limits and work around it, instead of pushing themselves over un-achievable goals. I'm just saying one on-time Christmas event is far better than one late Halloween event + one late Christmas event(or one late Halloween event + no Christmas event). If the staff know they don't have enough people to work on the content, just skip the Halloween event and use the time to prepare a Christmas event and deliver is on-time. We know they are busy and have their own lives, so if they do that, no one's gonna blame them for not having a Halloween event. But instead, they are pushing themselves at trying to deliver an already late Halloween event, and after that they probably don't even have time for an Christmas one. That's just bad planning. All I'm saying is plan better, if you don't think you can make the date, just skip it and start working on the next event, no ones gonna blame anyone for not having a certain event. But saying there will be a Halloween event and not release it until maybe Christmas? This is Sombra ARG all over again.

Smogon tier does not apply to this game at all, reasons being: 1. legendaries are not allowed 2. no mega revolution 3. a very good chunk of moves you use in showdown are not even coded in PRO. 4. a lot of regular pokemons are not even available in PRO. 5. a lot of pvp items are not available in PRO. So that being said, PRO has it's very own pvp tier list(someone already made a thread about this). Some OU poke in smogon are not even viable in PRO, ex: conkeldurr(sheer force + life orb), etc.

The right thing to do here(or next time) is don't even work on Halloween event or any event if you are not gonna make the "deadline", aim for the next possible event. In this case, if the team know they won't be able to make the Halloween date, don't even make an Halloween event, just aim straight for an on time Christmas event. I would rather have 1 good on-time Christmas event rather than 1 late Halloween event and 1 late Christmas event. Know your limit and work around it, the users won't blame if you just skip Halloween and aim for a well-prepared and on-time Christmas event. With the progress lately, I think we will have Halloween event at Christmas time and Christmas event at Valentine time, and that's just got great.

Ms only starter choice... Well just read it...

I like your idea but a whole lvl reset would suck i think. That's the point, just be glad we don't have a level reset on one of the pokemon when we get in a new region.
