wts epic eevee Larvitar Larvesta 48hours

start on lavesta -
I agree, since I play the game only for PvE(at least for now), there are less boss than I would like to crush at this moment. I would say instead of more bosses, we can have more PvE mode implemented, otherwise I don't know what to do everyday after doing my dailies(I hate PvP, in general, not specifically to this game).

DO NOT SAY THAT. Damn it, they will do it. lol

The best way to catch bots is not through banning the bots, but through monitoring trade history and find the main accounts behind the bots. PRO keeps a history of each trade(as far as I know) and why not take advantage of that? I can easily build a web app that seeks out trades where one account(botter main account) gets consistent money traded with multiple other accounts(bot accounts). And instead of banning the 10-20 useless bot accounts, you ban the main account once and for all. I can build that in less than a week and give it to pro staff for free, if the pro-developer can create a stored procedure to feed me the trade history(I don't actually need the trade history, just the stored procedure and parameter formats). The best thing about this? There is no client side change that needs to be made, they will never see it coming. :Shy: But first thing is first, we need to get the population back up before mass banning more bots. The next thing you know, the game is left with 100 people each server after another mass ban.
-
Everyone using bot knows they will get banned, eventually. That's why they don't bot on their main accounts and create 20 bot accounts instead, then pull all their bot money to main account. That way you can never get rid of the main account behind all of this.

Exactly, now we have our happy newbee players, came on the forum, saw this thing called "bots", google it and now we may have happy newbee bots. The staff should lock and remove all bot related topic from forum.
-
Nope, still got 50-200 queue at peek hours when we opened Yellow. Then school starts, the queue is completely gone. But yea, it has nothing to do with the mass quiting of staff last week. If anything, it's the other way around.

Indeed, it's weird to say, but I actually miss the queue, that just means there are a lot of players playing the game.

I was reading the original post, and I think we should add other criteria to accounts that shouldn't be cleared. Like accounts logged in within 8 months OR have total X(maybe 300?) amount of hours in any server OR have more than X(5 million) amount of money in any server should not be cleared.
-
That's exactly what they did a few month ago(or something similar) to ban the 3k botters in the first place. It's very very easy to detect and ban bots, but it's hard to do so without disrupting regular play. With what you are saying, you can pretty easily mis-ban, think of if you ban 1 user for every 500 bots you ban, now you have to deal with tons of bots that attempt to appeal with the 1 user buried within them. Who's gonna tell the difference, and who's gonna deal with all the appeals? You need a 100% accurate way of detecting bots, even 99% accurate is not enough because it's potentially harmful for the actual players. That's what happened to the Antiban classroom, they got rid of it because they have too many people whining about disrupting normal game play, while it's actually the best way to detect bots without putting too much human effort into it.

Well, thats not gonna be much difference than you just report them. Staff won't give you power to ban anyone, because it will be easily abused. So what end up happening is you find a bot, you tell the staff and they ban, so there's no difference than just report it on the forum.

Volt Switch/U-Turn, Not how its meant to be..
Lazypanda69 replied to Patisaur's topic in General Game Talk
I agree with the change. However, PRO has it's own battle system which is completely custom written, that has nothing to do with Nintendo(it tries to mimic showdown or the actual Pokemon game, but it is indeed completely custom). The battle system now is "turn based", and in order to make the change for what you are proposing, the developers will need to COMPLETELY rework the battle system, which is like almost half of the game. It's a good catch, but there are a lot more works(coding new moves, fixing other easier to fix bugged moves, adding new pokemon, new area, new content, etc.) the developers are working on or intend to work on before this, so I doubt it will be changed any time soon, if at all. -
Wts Mold Breaker Pinsir with Excellent Ivs [SOLD]

Re: Wts Mold Breaker Pinsir with Excellent Ivs <t>300k offer</t> -
As a grown adult, you should be able to spend $5 a month for a MS, if you feel the game is not playable. I do that, I don't buy of sell MS(any more), I just buy my share of MS and use it myself when I feel like I need one. And I don't see why you can't afford to open your wallet.
-
uhh, so just fast travel?
-
3k active bots were banned. that's 1k from each server, so if you used to have around 300 queue when you log in. 1800+300-1000=1100, and some people left before school starts, so I think the population now around 900 for Red and Yellow is actually normal given the series of events. Maybe Blue had more severe bot pollution, and have more bot bans than Red or Yellow thus leaving less players for Blue than any other servers.
-
Yellow is relatively new, Red has a lot of veteran players that has a lot of competition as far as PvP goes. So Yellow is more suitable for new player imo. Both servers have similar amount of players in them.

Ingame BOSS [Updated July 19th 2017] with bosses Move Set

Like I said, I don't PvP because I don't like losing. I have tons of PvP pokemon but I'm not really good at battle predictions and remembering movesets, so I'm actually a noob at PvP.
-
This is where I don't get. Given that the 3k botters don't buy MS(because they buy with bot money), when they are gone, the demand for MS dropped significantly. As long as the supply doesn't also drop significantly, the price of MS will actually drop to dirt(because there are less people buying it). But instead it went rocket high. The only reason I can think of is the MS supply actually dropped more than demand(and when the demand drop is 3k, that's a lot of supply drop to be able to make the price go up so high).
-
uhh, this is the least competitive game I have played in a long time, you don't even need to do PvP. I don't PvP and I just have fun by collection epic pokemon, if you don't like competition, just do what everyone else does and don't PvP. I don't see what you are suggesting has anything to do with whether the game is competitive or not.
