On showdown this is not allowed

I might get things wrong but you can always straighten my words. 1) poke is poisoned 2) poke switch in after dead teammate 3) poison tics 1)poke is poisoned 2) poke switch in by swap 3) poison tics 1)poke is poisoned 2) toxic spikes on field 3) that poke switch in after dead teammate 4) message poison failed to have effect because it is already poisoned 5) BUT THE POISON DOESN'T TIC lost because of third option since it was last poke scenario. Maybe I am not observant enough and it doesn't go as the first example

Rapid spin passes through protect or not. Is this fixed?
-
Then why for example gengar could have get levitate removed and this problem cannot be removed if pro has atm gen 7 standards... which in some cases would be arguable like in gengar case? Btw klefki also has prankster and it is used in pvp
-
Same goes when poke is asleep. Game full of bugs.

The impatience is directly proportional to the time we await. xD

That sounds interesting. Controlling the ones who are controlling. Well I guess the creators of the game should be the one in charge to do so. I always beleave that staff is for players and not the other way. Staff should never take advantage of the fact that they have higher position. At least in a game scenario. I do think that number of staff is an important factor. Imagine a jail with more guards then prisoners. What is the sense of sucha situation: the guard gets benefits for being a guard but has no impact which makes the whole structure a mess. Out of lack of things to do they start to abuse the power and for instance do physical punishment to the prisoners for slightest insubordination to prove they are worth the title.

So it is just a general topic about staff. In a forum with large topic freedom I hope this topic will match the standards and will not interrupt any relations of any sort. As we know staff is always a part of the game not only PRO but many others. It is obvious that the game needs the guards in order to function well. Someone must stand for the game idea and make players obbey the rules. The question is who exactly should be the aforementioned guard and how many of them should be in order not to ruin the balance between controlling players and freedom of players. First of all what are the pros of to many staff members. The obvious thing is that the players will be really careful on what they do and they will strictly obbey the rules in fear of getting punishment. Sounds nearly OK. At the beginning of any game usually the percentage off staff is a lot lower then when the game is advanced. The players are not so used to the fact that they are getting controlled in every moment of their game and if this changes drastiacally in time then they do feel pressurised. This implies the con of the situation which is that the relaxed mode which the game offers is starting to be blured by the massive outspread of the guards and the player in order not to lose what they have will fall under the pressure. How reckless decisions can the staff make when in number power and how will this affect the relationship between them and the players? Feel free to discuss, Crokstar.

Please lock this tread I cannot stop laughing. Stall is for noobs and let the noobs have the amoonguss since they dont know anything about competitive PvP xD
-
Actually i never thought u will take this post serious since it was a prank on Tr3y the Tr3yonguss as an answer to crawdaunt ban request. Well I guess you guys take the game to serious. xD
-
As the subject is titled i think that PRO isn't prepaired for pokes like amoonguss. it survives an attack puts ur poke to sleep and then switches out regaining its hp in addition absorbing toxic spikes which makes stall even harder to break which in combination with residual dmg like life orb leads to lose with an offensive team since these pokes regain its hp by switching out. Amoonguss puts ur poke 100% chance on sleep which makes things comes worse fighting with a 5v6 scenario leaving u with less oportunities to beat stall.
-
So I got this interesting dragonite for sell. If u hate stall that is the right pokemon for you. Start offer: 1m bid: 100k end: 48 hours after first bid. Fake offer: meat with nasty consequences HF

Crawdaunt is easly revenge killed and usually can be brought on extremely weak attacks or things like leech seed sr and by breaking at least one stall poke in someones core u can even start thinking about dismantling the team which otherwise can be very hard to deal with. (Reasons why Mega's and furthermore Z moves where brought )
-
The 2 abilities are not coded properly. No Guard: I use sleep powder -> missed vs machamp and he hitted 3 dynamic punch so it should be no guard version. Unaware: It also affects choiceband bonus which should not happen. Welcome to the game of stall.

Re: sell jolly epic mienfoo <t>start offer 600k</t>

sd life orb chomp can 2hko a 1 curse snorlax even if paralyzed it is faster. Lum berry version can just 2x sd because of probability getting 2x para in row is kinda low curse->switch chomp->curse->sd->body slam(para)-> sd-> (=still faster) eq -> dead snorlax curse->switch chomp-> body para->sd->eq->body slam-> revenge kill face to face a chomp will always win if not para hacked. with lum berry it is easier and ends same

Staff pokes - Is this really what the PVP community wants?
Crokstar replied to Crokstar's topic in General Game Talk
Bro, read the arguments which are written down by players. You do only support the idea of hardwork ( but normal players also hardworks ) I am writing from the pure PVP site+probability and how does sucha pokes impact on it. Others are also putting in logical arguments why the 30 IV's staff pokes are outclassing the normal pokes. And well the tournament rewards are not as good as staff pokes at least i never seen one like that maybe you did so i asked for a link to it. I really don't understand why u are totally missing in your replies the arguments we put in which are quite solid. The IV's should be weakened comparably to the rarity tier as Gambilicious for example proposed. -

Crokstar replied to Crokstar's topic in General Game Talk
Well I think there are more posts of mine then the first one. While the discuss evaluates we come to some conclusions. In fact still I would never stand after the idea of staff poke legendary (truly epic IV's) since it most of the players don't even get them even if there is this small probability. PS: Talking to some people is like fighting a stall team, you just wait till the PP ends if you cannot break outright. :) -

@6Head Read my post again... I said what solutions could be used. What does IV weakening has to do with punishing skill. :| Please link me a Poke better then a staff poke (30+ like the shown zapdos) I would like to see it. -
Staff pokes - Is this really what the PVP community wants?
Crokstar replied to Crokstar's topic in General Game Talk
6Head Again please read my posts (Which has some details with probability what does mean getting a truly epic poke for a "normal player", I did not even mention about banning staff pokes just making their IV's fair statistically (Good and one of the better ones AMONG the average epic pokes) for the rest of the players which also "tremendously" hard farm (Puts time input ingame which would not exist if lack of player). Don't call things which were not even said. Others also are not after totally banning the staff pokemons ( Read posts of other players). Man It is hard to discuss when someone is trying to insist things which does not appear. Read the arguments why we are after it and then make a sensible reply. Honestly luck generated poke still isn't usually ( in major cases) as good as staff pokemon. You cannot compare these 2 pokes. And a good PVPer is limitted by the stats, speed tiers, poke known as epics are not x6 31 IV and they do take more dmg. Combine a good PVPer with staff pokemons and it is a sure upperhand situation comparing to a good PVPer with "normaly epic" pokes. No matter how good you are a 30 speed pokemon will not outspeed 31 speed pokemon No matter how good you are if a draco meteor 2hko's a poke the poke can switch only one time in other situations it will switch in 2 times. No matter how good you are if your team needs a certain speed/nature/stat/HP for example Heatran and it doesn't have it then you will not have it which makes your team weaker if your idea is based on certain pokemon in the team which usually (in almost any competitive team) are the top meta pokes And please keep in mind that staff pokes are usually (Quite obvious) the top peak meta pokes. So staff poke > normal epic poke The staff pokes should be epic, but they cannot be godly epic because it most likely swings the win to the staff poke user because of let's say HP ice so it cannot be walled by a certain poke. Staff pokes - Is this really what the PVP community wants?
Crokstar replied to Crokstar's topic in General Game Talk
Dear players, I notice that you are all overshading the whole matter just by talking at each other when the topic should remain as clear from trash talk as possible so that the community can read through it and understand it. Some of you are after staff pokes because it is by some chance possible to obtain. I mean legendaries and tier 9 pokes. Which are currently really in meta like Latios, dragonite, zapdos. The number of chance getting 1/6^31 was just a shortcut calculation to show the absurd of the number. But man even if in reality the percentage WOULD BE 1/1000 then tell me how many normals players (the PVP hardened ones which actually do PVP in ladder and the matter of skill in higher ladder combined with epic IVs are important) will obtain it? Add this a HP to the 9 tier/legendary poke. Just imagine with pure logic is it really as obtainable as you think? The staff pokes are really 30/31 type poke (when HP then can be lower but it is the best bersion of HP usually) So well that won't make a much difference between the number 1/6^31 Lets say for offensive pokemons spatk/atk one of it will not matter so it can be 1/5^31=1/28629151 please count in 50% for sync fails so it will be a larger number. Now how many possibilities you drop of by putting a 30 IV not 31 IV? It is rather numbers like 50,60 or so So you can minus the 50,60,75 or w/e of the total number to get closer to the true number of possibility. As far as I know in PRO there aren't so many players. So the rest of them really will have their pokes outclassed in many terms ( team comp, IV's, SHINY - Wow for someone it can matter but it has no impact on pvp ) so please try to be objective and by all means REALISTIC of the chance you will get one. Please remember that staff puts work to make the game better so let them have a "small" reward for their work but it should be more fair looking compare to the other players pokes because other players ALSO put a lot of their time to achieve the epic ones which are not even close to the staff pokes. Logically the most important aspect is the speed IV which allows to reach a speed tier which should be put to the table as the major IV considering to change it or not. Same for HP some pokes having the HP perform a lot more better then without it. I think I dont need to again talk about probability. What I read from the comments some people think that epic legendaries compared to staff is something casual. Please again go back to the probability section read it patiently even if it is maths and the make a comment considering this. Personally I think that IV's should be based around the tier and for legendaries it should be even more restricted due to the fact that every player can only have one chance of getting a good one. As I mentioned we are not against staff getting rewards for their hardwork but we want it to be a bit more fair then it is for now on. Ranked ladder is something that should mainly show who is the skilled one. And remember simple equation: equally skilled player+truly epic poke>equally skilled player+standard epic poke. And another equation generated poke>luck Considering this it is more aimed to the staff players. Still at the end the decision will be made by the staffs, I just want to try to show why community doesn't appreciate sucha pokes in PVP. What are they overpassing by creating sucha pokes ( yeah it is probability). Why they have sucha advantage in PVP if they do PVP. You staff guys might do nothing about it but at least your decision will be made after the knowledge of how unfair it is compare to the normal players. At the end PRO doesn't end on staff players but it is also the community that makes the game. Btw nice that you made nicknames of players in Sinnoh. I hope you will stick to the topic and build more constructive comments based on fruitful thoughts not just trying to force your own sentence by insisting things which actually in reality don't occur to everyone. Crokstar. PS: For example me I don't have any legendaries because I am math thinking person and the probability means for me a lot. Basing on this the chance i would get an acceptable IV poke is not worth the time i would need to spend to get it. Think of it.
