Gonna bump this since Alaris is in the house. :Smile: Its not misinterpreted and was not made up recently. The rule has been in place for several months and the wording has not changed. I doubled checked this again with other staff.

When are we getting an answer to this?? The Shadow Tag situation is worse than ever in the game since more people realized it's broken and people began to farm it. The topic was brought up amongst staff again, the general consensus is that it goth while powerful in certain aspects has a similar win-rate to other top tier pokemon. No matter the decision we will make certain groups of players unhappy. Ex. remove goth= potentially welcomes more stall teams and klefki's. This is not a fact but a reasonable assumption. We do have some top pvper's amongst us and this is out current decision. The decision will be readdressed as needed.

Over the past 2 seasons a few users in particular have been found guilty of either or both of the follwing -giving PVP ranked wins to their main account via an alternate account -intentionally having friends/guildies intentionally give them #free wins to boost their ranked PVP rating. Some examples include users who broke into the Top 25 in back to back seasons and have been perma-banned for committing the above acts We want PRO's PVP environment to be a competitive environment and one with integrity. If you intentionally and artificially boost your PVP rating in any manner, you risk a ban on all of your accounts. Anyone who assists or aids someone in boosting also risks a Ban.

currently no, any moves that lower accuracy or have a chance to lower accuracy are banned.

Hey Alaris. Can you tell me who decides these PvP rules/clauses? Staff as a whole has decided upon the current rules. Any major new additions or changes are discussed as a group. Most of the rules align with those from smogon, but not all.

This would be unintentional. This would not currently be a violation in regards to the sleep clause.

Ghosts are immune to direct normal damaging moves Moves like roar and whirlwind still affect ghosts. Just like Confuse ray(ghost type) hits normal types. this is how it is in the base games as well.

You can stack as many hazards as you want.

your suggestion is heard, if the bug or issue is mentioned in the PVP rules thread we are aware of it and it will be dealt with at some point.
