[mention]canyon[/mention], as per our Game Rules, you are permitted to own 4 accounts across 2 emails. You can use these accounts as you would use your main account. The only restriction is that only one account can be on the Top 25, which isn't a problem if they aren't used for PvP.

The conversations and outcome of the appeal is private and determined by many factors; including the player's willingness to tell the truth. There is no personal bias.

No it isn't. The shiny rate in PRO is 1 in 8192 so shinies are pretty rare unless you're lucky :p

We aren't changing the rule. I've already stated; as of now, it's impossible for us to completely ban alternate accounts from the ladder. Thus alts are only banned from being a part of the Top 25. We've recently been suggested an unranked ladder which would be a good place for you to test teams. Said suggestion has been forwarded to Shane and we'll see where it goes from there. The main reason we banned alt accounts from the Top 25 in the mean time is to make the Top 25... the Top 25. Not the Top 18 or whatever it might've been in the past seasons. Nevertheless, I'm locking this topic. Our board is not the place for arguments and insults.

[mention]Somes[/mention] Alternate accounts aren't banned completely. Like Chameleon stated, alternate accounts will only be banned if they're on the Top 25. To use your example; what that player is doing is still ok. As long as they don't have 2 alts in the Top 25, they aren't breaking any rules.

Players trade Pokemon throughout a season so this isn't a reliable method, sadly. As I said, we're working on making things fair for both parties.

The punishment is a permanent ban on all accounts that reach the Top 25. I think that's enough of a deterrent :p

There are strong arguments for both types of players. For now, alternate accounts will only be banned from the Top 25. In the future, we will try to find ways to make things fair for both types of players. However, right now, it's almost impossible for us to moderate anything below the Top 25 without screenshot reports from players who know the alternate accounts of others.
