but if there is a Help channel, you can tell them to go there to ask. It's all about education.
-
The All channel is currently spammed with tons of questions, most of them are obviously form newcomers. These messages would belong to a Help channel where the staff and the experienced members could help out those in need. It would cler up the All channel, and it would be easier to notice if someone needs help.

No offense but in every MMO I was playing spanish/portuguese speaking players communicate like that. I don't know if it's because of rudeness or just their usual way to talk but it's the same regardless of you play a Sci-Fi RTS, a fantasy TPS or a Pokemon game.

He oroginally had Pila, Lapras, Snorlax, Venu, Chari and Blastoise.

It would make sense if the pre-evos of Pikachu and Electabuzz would be catchable there, so I support this idea :)

Heard about it on the PWO forum back when it was called Reign of Monsters. I was following the development ever since.

My issue is this: Reaching the stairs that would lead to the topmost floor. But I can not step on the tile right before the stairs, so I can't get to them. I hit an invisible wall or something and can't continue....

Route 17, on the left at the southern part of the "highway"
-
It was never possible in any Pokemon game to ride in the caves, so no thank you.
-
by the way, the tutorial is still doesn't correct. If take the stairs on b28 you hit a dead end.

Why oh why this maze has to be full with Pokes....?
-
Plus prices are constantly fluctuating.

I agree that the staff should have more dignity. We know they have super-duper Pokes because they can spawn any Poke for themselves they want. But they shouldn't show off, especially not in public.
-
Not yet, although it would be very much in need :D And I agree, great tutorial. Can't wait to see it on the wiki

I have membership, so I should be able to pass the sever cap but I'm still not able to join...

I don't get why are people so fixated on breeding. What, you can fight only with a perfect team with perfect IVs and perfect natures? Be a bit more flexible...
-
1 - I disagree. Obviously you gonna need a type advantage but it's doable. 2 - I totally agree. You can basically do all of those gyms in one go. 3 - Once you get more into the game, it becomes less expensive. 4 - As they should be. This is an MMO, you should work hard for a Charmander. 5 - Again, this is an MMO. You must work hard to get good stuff. 6 - Now this is I can't get why isn't implemented yet. Especially if you warp onto platforms you can't get off. Definitely a must have.

- Pay day: Obvious reasons - Breeding: Obvious reasons - Fly: Not as a move but as an ability outside of the battle. It is also part of an MMO that you have to walk if you wanna get somewhere. Granted, some transportation systems should be accessible (I really liked PWO's train system) - Elite 4 as a requirement to advance to a new region: If they are so weak than everyone can beat them, why are they called "Elite"? it kinda makes them pointless. If they are strong and awesome, several players will be blocked for way too long before they could advance to the next region. - Thief: As some items will be pretty rare and extremely valuable, it would be infuriating and unfair if a wild Poke could just remove it from the game. Or if it works as Gen V and VI it would be way too easy to get certain items if you could steal them form wild Pokes.

Interesting point. But why would you have to bercome the champion of the region? Why isn't it enough to collect all the badges to qualify to advance into the next region like in the anime. I would prefer to think about the E4 as a group you won't just beat sooner or later. I would prefer them to have a full team of 99 or even higher level Pokes so you would be super-prepared, equipped with high-end Pokes and a ton of items to beat them. Now they are just an obstacle like any other gymleader and this dissolves their mystery and totally kills their reputation of being the "elite" trainers of the region. What is so elite about them if literally every player beats them? Just my two cents though.
-
The only problem with an overly powerful Pokemon is that it is a requirement to pass on to the next region. I would say that beating the Elite 4 shouldn't be a requirement to pass on to the next region, it should be enough to collect the 8 badges. Otherwise that Mega Gengar would block a way too big part of the community from advancing to the next region.

I think he does. And I have to agree, it feels a bit harsh to simply put some Pokes into the trash... Could the graphics of that area be changed? A waving hand perhaps? Or an empty Pokeball?
-
Are there any particular Pokemon that you have a problem with? Or is it just the total amount in general? Mostly the total amount in general. The only Poke I particularly have problem with so far is Hoothoot. During nighttime you'll see more of them than of the other Pokes combined. I'm not against encountering Hoothoot in Kanto (in fact it adds a great versatility to a team), but being the most common Pokemon is just too much.
-
I like the idea that there are other region Pokes everywhere. The Pokemon world is a complex ecosystem and not six (seven? eight?) completely isolated areas. But I think that there are just too many other region Pokemon available in Kanto at the moment. But we have to keep in mind that this is only an issue in Kanto as other generations all use Pokemon from the previous generations.

I'm getting somewhat impatient myself, though I try not to... But it indeed takes an unexpectedly long time to finish that last 2% of progress. I hope this is not an indication that the staff is losing interest in the game...
-
Tell me about it... I'm trying for 3 days to get in without success. I just hope the game will be finished soon and will be moved to the new server.
