Actually, this was changed in the original games from Faint Attack to Feint Attack in the most recent games.</r>

That's how it is in the original games. It doesn't really raise any stat, but in the Pokemon world, you could say that earning the badge makes your Pokemon have more respect for you and will do better in battles.</r>

yes, that is a good idea, to replace about of "ups stats" by "ups respect". i believe that the leader gyms should update their dialogues of original games to have their dialogues PRO. for example: misty should say something as "by earning the cascade badge, you can use the chat to ask any doubt about the pokemon world", and lt surge should say something as " by having thunder badge, sky and dig are in your hands, you can dig outside of battle, and fly in a battle". (this is only ideas about i am trying to explain).</r>
