I really like the OP idea! i think it could really contribute to the PVP Scene, having UI that is more detailed will help immensly in my own feelings, and will contribute to the overall PVP gameplay.

 

also, the quoted picture looks nice ! having the ability to hover with the mouse over a poke to see some unharm details (Type, type effectiveness etc) could be really cool !!!
