Maintenance is indeed for the release of Blue server. This has nothing to do with Hoenn.

You will just have new character on new server with fresh start, dunno about MS.

 

There are many ways to do new servers. They either handle some of the load, but you have 1 account that is usable on any server. Or you have one login but can effectively have two different accounts based on each server (most games do it like this.)

 

I just got to Kanto's elite four and i've been farming up for it all day. Idk if I want to just continue or start on the new server where I can be on an equal footing with everyone.
