Parpar
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who thinks it is ridiculously unfair that Bulbasaur is the only starter Pokemon to have such a restriction behind it. Squirtle takes a while, so does Charmander, and that's cool, but the game right now seems like it punishes people who did not start with/want to farm a Bulbasaur far more than the other two starter. Bulbasaur definitely deserves to see a low encounter chance somewhere outside the safari zone with its steep entry price of $5000 per, with the other starters that are just a matter of time needed. I guess the same thing can be said for cyndaquil in the johto safari I guess?
Spacemuffin
I like the way the pokemon are set up at the moment. 5k is not hard to come across. Can easily make 100k in just like 4hrs. Parpar
It's not the price really, it's the logic behind it. Why are its other two counterparts free to hunt while Bulbasaur isn't? There just isn't a good reason for it, especially when competitively charizard is the best of the three.
Starlight
133915 I like the way the pokemon are set up at the moment. 5k is not hard to come across. Can easily make 100k in just like 4hrs. Many players are NOT willing to waste 100k in Safari Zone for a bad rare poke. (also, to make 100k in 4 hours I'm sure you need access to endgame dungeons......then again I do think players shouldn't attempt to find rare pokes until they finished the story) And as said above, there's no possible logic behind it. I can't think up an answer for why it has to be put behind a cost when the other two aren't.
Judgeharm
I have to agree here. Bulb is easily the hardest to get. It is also super frustrating. I often grind for pokemon for a couple of hours at a time while watching a movie. Being constantly kicked out and having to run back is just a pain. I would much rather just part with the 40-50k for a decent bulb than deal with that nonsense. grinding =/= difficulty griding =/= dedication and RSI. Putting it behind a 5k wall and a run is just annoying.
Einstein
My guess is since for one Venusaur is outstanding in PvP in the current meta, far surpassing the other two starters. Also since Bulbasaur is the least chosen out of the 3 starters, incentive is placed in its availability in the wild. Just as Pikachu's incentive is its ability to learn surf. The 5k paywall is minor compared to the selling price you would make off of one, and the amount of amassed money you will accumulate later into the game. Parpar
136330 My guess is since for one Venusaur is outstanding in PvP in the current meta lolwut. I would call Venusaur far from outstanding. With its attacking moves limited to only giga drain and its physical movepool of Earthquake and power whip. Definitely nowhere near as threatening as a possible dragon dancing Charizard, or even an all out attacking timid/modest Charizard. Venusaur doesn't even get access to sludge bomb yet, which is just terrible for its movepool diversity. The only novelty that Bulbasaur has now is being a DECENT grass type addition for a team (as well as roserade) other than the extremely rare Ferrothorn or Breloom. Either way, look at the Johto starters. All of them are in the same place, Safari zone. They're all equal in difficulty to acquire no matter which one you pick, and I don't see why Kanto is not the same way.
Nostazz
anyway i tried and if you kill every other poke in safari for all the time you earn more than 5 k :/ i dont like this logic that much but that's a thing, and i guess it will stay like this

If you dont want to pay 5k for a chance to get it than dont go for it. You can get a Vileplume instead.

I guess the same thing can be said for cyndaquil in the johto safari I guess? As your point, any suggest for buba location if it will be consider? Bear in mind that the starter is special and rare, so normal place is not suitable and reason. For example, pikachu in viridian forest (same as orginal and anime), charmander in cinanba as location of almost fire pokemon in kanto, while squirtle in Vermilion by the well-know place of ship and sea. So Buba in the safari as the special place for his type (forest and glass).
