Welcome to the sixth official ladder tournament

This tournament is for the top 25 of the ladder February 2018!

Please register within the next six days!

The ladder tournament will be on showdown with PRO rules!

 

 

Why Showdown?

• To make the tournament cross server.
  
• To keep a safe log of all matches.
  
• To give the option to play more different teams.
  

 

 

Rules

1. Rated pvp rules apply. Please familiarise yourself with these if you have not done so already.
   
2. If you disconnect, it will be counted as a loss unless your opponent agrees to a rematch.
   
3. Finish the matches within the stated time:
    
   
   • If you didn't complete your match within the stated time, the winner will be decided by coinflip.
      
     
   • If your opponent tried to contact you and you didn't react within the stated time, you will be disaqualified.
     Evidence are needed in this case!
     

[*]You have to post the replay links to prove that you won within the given time.

[*]You have 4 days per round!

[*]You can use as many Pokemon as you want and don't need to register them.

[*]You can only use Pokemon that are catchable and not banned in PRO.

[*]You are allowed to use following moves that do not work 100 % correctly in PRO:

Calm Mind, Counter, Defog, Detect, Explosion, Fake Out, Flare Blitz, Hex, Hidden Power, Leech Seed, Mirror Coat,

Protect, Rapid Spin, Sand Tomb, Softboiled, Slack Off, Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes, Sticky Web, Taunt, U-Turn and Volt Switch.

[*]You are allowed to use following abilities that do not work 100 % correctly in PRO:

Drought, Drizzle, Dry Skin, No Guard, Sand Stream, Snow Warning and Synchronize.

[*]You are allowed to use following items that do not work 100 % correctly in PRO:

Choice Band, Choice Scarf, Choice Specs and Sitrus Berry.

[*]You have to join the ladder tournament discord, before the tournament starts. You will get the invite link, after your registration.

Failure to follow the rules will result in an immediate disqualification.

 

F.A.Q.

1. Q: Which Pokemon can be used in showdown tournaments?
   A: You can use all Pokemon, abilities, items and moves that were coded and allowed, when the tournament started.

   The list is longer, so only use them, if you are sure that they are coded and allowed. If you are unsure, feel free to ask.
   
2. Q: We didn't finish our match within the given time. What happens now?
   A: If you tried to contact your opponent and s/he didn't answer, then your opponent will be disqualified. Evidence are needed.
   If both of you didn't try to contact each other or weren't able to agree on a date, then the match will be coinflipped.
   
3. Q: The timer in PRO is different than in Showdown. What do we do?
   A: You have to agree with your opponent on an timer, there are no limitations.
   
4. Q: PRO has no formats. Which do we use?
   A: Same as above. You have to agree with your opponent on a format, but it has to be rule compliant.
   
5. Q: I can't agree on different terms with my opponent. What happens now?
   A: If you make reasonable suggestions and your opponent does not agree without making his own suggestions, then it will count as a refusal to battle. If you and your opponent make reasonable suggestions, but still can't agree within the given time, then the match will be coinflipped.

The tournament will only happen with at least 8 participants!

1st place: Shiny Tangela (Nature and ability of your choice) + Reroll Ticket

OR

2nd place: 1x 60-days MS + 2x Reroll Ticket

OR

1x 60-days MS + nature change for one of your legendaries

3rd place: 1x 30-days MS + Reroll Ticket

4th place: 2x Thunder Stone

 

Toxicity leads to a Toxic Orb instead of the prizes above (4th place excluded)!
