If you would checked Pokédex you would know that 7th Generation Pokémon are in-game, just disturbation of any of them is not yet decided.

Some new updates to the boss Thor. The boss now has a few different teams which are randomly decided when you start the fight. Also, there is a list of banned Pokemon for fighting Thor. If you go to fight Thor with these he will call your team cheap. The following Pokemon are no longer allowed to be used when battling Thor: Goldeen, Seaking, Snorlax, Chansey, Blissey, Ferroseed, Ferrothorn, Shellos, and Gastrodon.

No-one on the content team has mentioned anything about this, and I know for a fact that Unova isn't the next region that's being worked on, as I am the one heading up regional development. There IS a region or 2 being worked on, but it isn't Kalos, Alola or Unova.

 

Is there a possibility that one of the regions you guys are working on, or may work on in the future are from the pokemon ranger games?
