Considering none of the types of the trees matches regular Rotom's type, my guess is that any of the trees can yield Rotom instead of the usual normal/dark/bug/grass, perhaps if the chain number is high enough.

Yes i got some Rotom in the Dark Chain night, but i don't find the exact pattern, not sure if we have to do only Dark chain or others chains next Dark chain.

why don't we call it ghost chain rather than dark chain? the rewards are all ghost pokes
