Looking at your screenshots i can see neither option worked for you, because of that this could potentially be a bug. I will go ahead and look into this further for you. As a new player don't worry too much about trading value early on focus on catching Pokemon with good natures first. For most Pokemon in PRO, what really drives value is the nature, IVs, and whether it's useful for PvP or boss battles. Common catches usually won't sell for much, but as you progress and start finding rarer spawns or better stats, that's when trading becomes more interesting. Check the trade section on the forums to get a feel for current prices too!
