Hello, With all due respect, I understand this is frustrating, but this is our current policy regarding these situations. If you can make a reasonable suggestion you are more than welcome to, and I for one would happily read it. Our job isn't to be the mean fun police or to be unfair to anyone. We are always looking to evolve, and do what's fair for the player base. Reality is you didn't win. You extended an auction that was cut short. There were no opportunities to bid past your bid before the auction was cut short. In all my rulings I try and give the best explanation for every instance I get involved, and I have done so in this case. If you feel I made a misjudgment you can make a thread Here and if you have a suggestion on how we realistically could change how we operate you can make a thread here we do actually read the suggestions. What bothers me is the way you brought up the subject, which comes across more as an attempt to pressure or guilt-trip, without presenting solid arguments more like imposing your will than having a discussion. Now, I really don't get your point. Even if this tournament is hosted on Showdown, it would still follow PRO's rules, isn’t that enough to establish a proper correlation? The purpose of using Showdown is mainly for practice and ensuring that all matches are conducted correctly, with the added of testing skill rather than how long someone took to catch a """perfect""" Pokémon, which can be interpreted as either a positive or negative aspect, depending on perspective. After all, this was a suggestion that I and Subhammaster brought to Lacomus due to some limitations in PRO that could cause issues, such as: - Replays can be lost, since there is a limited amount we can check in our accounts. - Players from different servers might get stuck on one server and be unable to complete their battles. - While PRO's in-game PvP resources are improving, they are still somewhat unreliable. For instance, it might lack key information like the date the battle was played, the format used, and other details that could be useful for verification. These are some of the scenarios I had in mind when I proposed moving the tournament to Showdown.

Be glad. At least they extended it. I had a blace auction go south and they just yoinked it from the winner and yoinked 8-9mill from me and gave it to someone else for half the price. Over “seconds” on the 15min rule as bids went on for millions at the end.

Objectively Rhulk is correct about the fact that it should stay in PRO and not in Showdown. This forum and this game is about PRO and not about some battle simulator like Showdown. Why would even people invest their Pokedollars to participate in a tournament that won't happen on the same platform the Pokedollars come from? People have invested time on their Pokemon on PRO, and it wouldn't be fair for everyone to get perfect IVs just like that.

Thanks for giving me permission to leave if I want “the only thing showdown does is remove remove hunting rng” which kinda is the main thing in pro and directly influences pro’s PvP. Saying I’m not reasonable for saying I’m not entering if showdown is the move is kinda not up to you. I was playing it for fun.
