Main reason is interupted gameplay. You could be doing something important like hunting and you find a match. What happens to the pokemon you encounter? Its a waste of time for the devs to figure something like that out and then code it.

Why you dont like

Hi Staff, I want a shell bell but while i have 4 salts, i have 0 shoal shells and when i go to the locations they are empty, i think i got the salts in 2018 and somehow it is glitched since i took so long to complete it? Appreciate the help,
