Unfortunetaly the game can have issues when using mobile data. I would suggest to use WIFI instead or try to use a VPN. Both options should fix the problem you are experiencing.

Are you using mobile data to play the game?

The videos are not working. Do you have the latest client version? What does it say on the top-left of your login-screen?

Did you click the rock in the Wailord after beating the boss in there to get a Gem and did you talk to the Golem after beating the Mega-Charizard-X-Boss in the Mountain Maze?

There are 2 other parts of the quest you have to do. I would suggest to explore the event area a bit more and I am sure you will find the other parts of the quest.

@black2white2Do you have the two other Gems from the other quest-parts as well? You need a total of three Gems for the Guards to let you pass.

If you click the stone at the beginning of that forest area you will get a hint which helps you to get back to the Forest Master.

Since you already got the hint from the stone you pretty much only have to search and interact with a location between two trees. Search around a bit and I am sure you will find it as other players managed to do it already as well.

Thats not a bug and is actually intented. If you click the stone plate on the beginning of the forest area there will be a hint which tells you how you can go back to the area with the Forest Master.
